Have you guys seen this? RGIII tweeted this yesterday-
@RGIII: In a land of freedom we are held hostage by the tyranny of political correctness
Jason Lewis is talking about it now. RGIII didn't specify as to what he was talking about, but many speculate it was either about Jason Collins coming out or about the Redskins changing their name because of it being 'offensive.'
Shouldn't have voted for Obama
lib meltdown is imminent
He's pretty much right on the money. But in this case, he gets paid millions of dollars to shut his mouth about it so he needs to do just that. But I feel ya young buc', I feel ya.
he gets paid to keep his mouth shut?
Maybe he's mad he can't get foie gras in SF.
Who gives a f*ck? Enough people for Jason Lewis - a nationally syndicated radio host - to open his show discussing the tweet.

ban this fool Kitemac
He gets paid not to piss off the fans and his lokcer room, yes. Developing a media circus around his team is a terrible idea. If he wants to have a voice he needs to go be an accountant of something. Not the face of a multi million dollar football business.
Why? Is that not what WGAF stands for?
Everyone is so damn soft nowadays.
why is this tweet even worth a damn? and who gives a crap who or what it's about.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I was kidding
WGAF in the sense it's an obscure tweet and you and this radio guy are projecting anti-gay sentiments on him.
It's possible that or the redskins name is what he's talking about based on public knowledge of RGIII, but its possible its just something he saw on TV or experienced in his life that bugged him. Unless he chooses to clarify what he meant its none of your damn business.
I really don't care what he was talking about, I was just passing along the story. I only mentioned the Collins and Redskins parts because that's what others are saying on twitter. I like his tweet, whether he was talking about the aforementioned things or something else. Maybe no one is actually talking about it in the media (I haven't turned the TV on all day), but since Lewis opened with the story, I just assumed they are.
Too many viginas in this country today. We need more death penalties, more republicans, and to stop giving other countries our money. Merica!!!
He is without question talking about the Redkins name change
Some asshole here is DC wants it changed to the Redtails lol
I hope they do change it, so they can watch the Skins lose thousands of fans instantly, me being one of them
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
he makes a good point imo.
If Native Americans aren't offended by it no one should be. If they are, though, it warrants a discussion. I'm a fan and I'd hate to see the name changed, but let's not be naive and act like it isn't a derogatory phrase. It's basically the NA variation of n*gger. I can totally see getting fed up with today's PC culture when names like Illini, Seminoles, what have you are brought up as, "offensive." As for "red skins," like I said, it's not up to me if it's offensive.
Good for him.
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
I find it much easier to go through life, not going out of my way offend others, but simply not caring if I do. If you get offended, then that is a you problem, and should find ways to deal with that.
Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
So if I wanted to start the New Jersey N*ggers or the Los Angeles Ch*inks, we shouldn't even have a discussion on whether or not that's right?
You would find it very difficult to turn a profit with those names. But if you were able too, then more power to you. Good luck
Again, I only have this stance for phrases that are actually derogatory and only care if the people the phrase insults actually are offended, but not even considering that it discussing the issues comes off as a little dickish, IMO.
By today's pearl-clutching standards it's totally offensive. Which is why it's so hilarious. But this 'discussion' has been going on for as long as I can remember. No chance in hell the name gets changed. Not in our lifetimes.
