About time. Clear case of self defense. Witness even stated that Rolando McClain wouldn't hurt anyone and pleaded with the guy to stop before someone got hurt. Rolando....The stand up guy we all knew he was.
The right thing to do in that situation is not shoot a gun near a dudes head IMO
Self-defense. He had no other choice.
How much money Stacio do you think was exchanged? Really!
Rolando McClain is a Saint. It's been proven In court. Over and over and over an over...
RM shooting a gun near your head > RM beating the fuc* out of your head
Dude got lucky IMO IYAM
Death penalty IMO
Love RoLo. Straight nasty on the field and swag for days.
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
Dude played like a full grown man from Day 1.
I don't know where he stands with your fans among all time great Bama defenders, and I know you've had some great ones, but from this outsider's perspective--and it just an impression as much as anything since I don't watch all Bama games--you'd have to go back to Derrick Thomas to find a Bama defender that was that dominant.
Very surprised that he hasn't been Ray Lewis 2.0 at the pro level
Demeco Ryans was better. His freshmen year he came in against run-heavy Arkansas and had 25 tackles off the bench. Guy single-handedly led a piss poor Bama team to a 10-2 season in 2005. Also considering that Ryans was in a defense that was basically a contain defense (absolutely never blitzed under Kines) and he had a very mediocre DL in front him yet still had 100+ tackles 2 or 3 times. Also a much classier guy than Rolondo.
Right now I'd have Rolondo as a top-10 impact guy in the past 3 decades of football I've seen. But frankly Hightower last year was better due to his versatility as was Barron (if comparing to all defenders). Demeco was the best ILB I've ever seen at Bama (in my lifetime..there are a couple of guys that were better in the 60s and 70s).

I know he's been a stud in the league, I guess I just didn't see as many Bama games when he was there as I did when Rolo was there.
I just have a real vivid memory of being absolutely blown away by how physically dominating Rolo was as a true freshman

Dude is slipping. Can't take down Ro. Legend
I Ain't got no Worries - Lebron James
Was thinking the same thing. Where has that little fella been.
Great. Now he can go back to missing tackles for the Raiders without fear of a suspension.
