Just need to recruit better players, that's all.
From Yahoo! Sports: KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Frustrated Southeastern Conference coaches think their league is treated more like a mid-major rather than a BCS conference.
YOUR have been banned from reading and posting on the Michigan Wolverine board.
It's a media conspiracy ESPN perpetuates to make money. Am I doing it right?
Didn't the SEC win the championship last year?
No, No, No. They have a couple of good teams that start out ranked so high that it inflates the whole conferences rankings. So really every team sucks in that conference, except 1 or 2, but the rest just get ranked high b/c they play in that conference. Coat. tail. riders.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
The SEC isn't THAT bad at basketball. The BIG fans are just really desperate to be one up on the SEC in something and are over-blowing the discrepancy between the two conferences in basketball.
BTW however much better you guys THINK you are in basketball than the SEC, the SEC actually IS that much better than you guys in football. So suck it.
Am I doing it right?
I mean cmon. FSU and Miami are rising powers and we have UNC, Duke, L'Ville, NCState, syracuse, and some other decent teams.
The Big 10 IS way better than the SEC in basketball this year
Yes they are.
If you actually watched the SEC in hoops this year, it was clearly mediocre. I don't need rankings and ratings and ESPN to tell me that. The proof was in what I saw.
Also, with few exceptions, the league was terrible out of conference.

I don't think recruiting better players is the answer. If you look at the last 3 NBA drafts, the SEC leads in the number of players selected by a pretty wide margin. Just a down year this season.
In the last 3 years:
Big East- 19
UK is a powerhouse UF is close to it. In a couple years the ACC will be insane at Basketball.
This is true. I couldn't care less about basketball but I have seen people in the state I live in trying to hype up B1G basketball this year and I can't stand it. I care about football!
How many of those SEC draftees from Kentucky alone? i don't have a clue so I have to ask.
Wow, your coaches must suck.
Mediocre? You don't know what you saw then, because it clearly sucked.
14 come from Kentucky.
Without Kentucky, the SEC still has more in the last 3 years than the B1G and the PAC12.
Seriously, how long has it been since the B1G won a National Title in any major sport?
SEC sucked at basketball this year. I don't know why anyone would think anything different. If you are talking about the recent history in the draft then you probably should just stop talking though. Lots of new coaches in the SEC the last few years.
that has to hurt a little..
2002 in football (OSU)
2000 in basketball (MSU)
1966 in baseball (OSU)
They do pretty well in men's gymnastics.
Baseball isn't a major sport for them.... Hockey is bigger than baseball in that conference.
Ahhh history! OK you just opened the door for our sister school Michigan to shove all those nc's in your face. However if you're talking here and now, the sec was a junior varsity league in basketball. Horrible to watch. It hurt.
