I doubt it would actually change the election but let the conspiracies continue.
WASHINGTON, DC Sources confirmed today that hundreds of thousands of military absentee ballots were delivered hours after the deadline for them to be counted, with preliminary counts showing that they would have overturned the vote in several states and
I've seen that story about a hundred times on facebook. Considering Fox News isn't even running with the story I have trouble believing it's true.
He lost move on 100k wouldnt help.
Depedning on how many there were and where they were from, it could have changed a state or two. But it wouldn't have made enough of a difference.
What bothers me the most (if this is true....the votes not being counted, not the "Romney would have won") is that those guys are over there risking their lives for freedom and the powers that be can't even honor them enough to allow their choice to be heard.
anybody know what the millitary vote was this year?
Even if this were true, it wouldn't have swung the election. Romney lost the popular vote by millions and 100K votes (assuming every single one was for Romney) wouldn't have changed enough swing states for Romney to win.
Even if these ballots swung Ohio, Florida, and Virginia for Romney they still wouldn't matter.
It's not the fact that they would have changed the election, it's the principle. Being active duty I'm lucky enough to be registered in the state where I'm stationed and don't have to worry about an absentee ballot. I'd be pissed if I was overseas and my vote was "lost", "not counted", or some other BS excuse this administration tried to feed me.

Doesnt matter, their vote deserves to count. No matter who they voted for.
this country's election process is an embarassment. every year military votes get "lost". the state of florida cant count votes it just goes on and on and on. theres always something shady or incompetent going on with our election process
