Still fairly new to following recruiting but has a HS team ever had two 5* athletes on same team in same class? More specifically two 5* RB's on same team in same class. Just noticed that Miami Central has Cook and Yearby who are both currently 5* in 247 Composite. TIA
I certainly don't recall it ever happening before
Pretty crazy, what is even crazier is there is even more talent on that team
The WR Phillips is a beast, Darling is a 4 star for this class
Just a loaded high school that will send a butt load of kids to D1 in the next few years
They are my favorite Miami high school
Still can't believe that Norcross rocked their anus so badly

fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
It was actually Nkemdiche's Grayson team that beat them but that defense was loaded with D1 players...something like 7-8 of starting 11.
Miami Central definitely talented.
Oh yeah, that is what I meant
There is also a 2015 safety that FSU offered who's name escapes me and they have a D1 OC/OG named Raul Diaz. thy're loaded
We signed HaHa Clinton-Dix and Dee Hart who was also a five star for some reason but they weren't both RBs of course. That's just ridiculous. Dee Hart is working out at corner now btw...
Without self-knowledge there is no individuality
Calvin Brewton ?
Yh that's one, I think he transferred from Columbus to Miami Central this yr.
Yeah I remember that team, Freeman pissed all over them
Ha Ha wasn't laughing after that one
I think I read about that. I'm just glad he's panned out so far.
Yeah Im just bustin chops, I liked both Ha Ha and Hart coming out of HS
I really wanted Ha Ha and K Los to play together seeing as how they got along so well
Those 2 back deep on that gridiron kings team was unreal, IIRC both had pick 6's in the title game
Nick O Leary, Hart, Tony Steward... so many bosses on that years squad
Is this the year Los gets his sh1t together ,what's his deal? I just knew he would be a beast for you guys, I remember when called Saban a used car salesman or something like that
He is a beast man, he has played fine in his 2 years just hasn't started yet
He will start this year, and he won the ACC title game for us with a game sealing INT that he almost housed
His shot at Saban was a joke and it wasn't anything serious
Here is his highlights
anybody calling him a bust is crazy
If memory serves me right, Long Beach Poly HS had 5 top 30 players in 2002. 4 played in the NFL and 2 are still in the league.
Yeah ,I know that Saban comment was him just fooling around. Decent tape for a backup though. He and Benjamin should be break out players this year. I really want to see KB ball out too, dude is a freak.
He really is, I expect big things from him
Both of them fwiw, Benjamin looks to have dropped some bad weight thank god
He was too big last year
A few years ago St. Thomas Aquinas played Byrnes (SC) and each team had like 10 guys that ended up playing D1 ball.
That game was so awesome
Byrnes got killed though IIRC
Lattimore had a PR I think, and it was that play that made me realize how good he was and that he wasn't no undeserving 5 star
You could see he had a special gear that he could turn on whenever he needed
Many Noles trolled him once it seemed FSU had no shot anymore, and I was like well.... that play showed me something for sure
On STA I think they had Bernard, Greene, Dorsett and Joyner all on offense at times... and had Roberson, Riggs and a few other Gators
Just a silly collection of talent, probably STA's best team ever
My bad it was close
The lattimore play is the first highlight, it was a fake punt
Old Spice High School Showcase at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. #1 St. Thomas Aquinas defeated #2 Byrnes, 42-34.
The one play by Dorsett is dirty, forgot about that one
Yeah, STA won pretty handily I think but even so that was the most High School talent I've ever seen in one game.
Damn. Awesome find.
I played high school ball around the same time as Lattimore. Byrnes basically ran the state then, wish I could have played against them at least once.

that might have been the greatest high school game of all time
STA had Linder, Joyner, Greene, Dorsett, James White, Bernard and maybe somebody else just on offense alone
Byrnes had Lattimore, Chas Dodd (Rutgers), Nick Jones (South Carolina), Brandon Willis (UNC), Corey Miller (Tennessee). Jazz King (Marshall). Probably a few others
Jazz King and torrian Robinson sounded familiar to me as well
The kicker for STA was the #1 kicker that year also, Palardy ( Tenn )
