I'd eat my hat if he doesn't live down river or macomb county. Most likely, at least one room has a red wing flag for curtains

BiffPoggi: Until the #Big 10 learns to recruit like the #SEC it will be an irrelevant conference. Good news for #Ohio State
@rivalsmike: Player and dad gone silent to me which makes me wonder “@TBake24: @rivalsmike Mike,Whats the word on Poggi?”

So Dwags you live in Bloomfield Hills? West Bloomfield? Ur so money, baby. So money. All that money and you still couldn't get into Michigan let alone afford it. I feel bad for you. Oakland county living with an East Lansing degree. But hey you have hot chicks at ur school! Guess what...you did it wrong!
So you do live down river?
So UM offically didn't want this kid now anyways, right?
Pulled scholie. Back to policy 1
Btwwherever that kid goes I hope there isn't character assassination. Somebody posted an article on him in the um/MSU threads
Seem like an outstanding kid.
Nope...could care less where someone lives. If they cheer my school, I got love for ya! Alumni/student/never attended everyones welcome
Okay, wasn't 100% sure outside of Bielema but I thought that there were three Big X coaches making a stink of it.
I just found it funny as hell because the same guys crying over it, were actually recruiting guys committed to other places while they were crying. Recruiting is cut throat and all these coaches know it. Until the ink is signed and the kid shows up for class, all is fair.
I wonder if it wasn't an agreed upon tactic for a few of those coaches to try and stop Urban's immediate success by coming out and making it sound like he was a dirtier recruiter than he was. Nobody will ever know I guess. Doesn't matter at this point. Urban will never have a class at OSU that is outside of the top ten in recruiting.
Umm pretty sure most know Urban is already dirty and shady when dealing with recruiting
No worries. I also agree.
On a side note, the lil bro syndrome on this page is in full effect.

You honestly believe that BAMA is footing the bill for the trip and he will not have any interaction with the staff. That has to be either the most naive or the most stupid post I have ever read on a message board
So you're basically implying that the SEC and OSU use money to recruit...
Yes, us programs who actually...you know.....win
he wouldn't let his players pose in the Playboy All-American magazine edition, he said, "Cause you can't play football with an erection."
No. The SEC uses money. We use tattoos. Big difference.
Now it's sounding like his trip to 'bama was to just 'hangout'.
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
Very well could have been but I doubt it. I wouldn't think that was out of the realm of possibility if Hoke wasn't such a hard ass about his commits taking visits. With his stance, you have to think the kid was at least interested.
I'm not saying that he's not going to end up at Michigan, actually I think he sticks with UM, but I still have to think it was more than that. Personally, I wish these kids would take their five visits and then commit instead of waiting so damn long to take them.
Your last sentence is a big part of the problem. Poggi could have taken this visit anytime over the past five months. If it's a real OV and he is seriously considering a flip, it's selfish and inconsiderate to do it 2 weeks from NSD. How would he feel if the same thing was done in reverse to him, i.e. we pulled his offer two weeks before NSD simply because we changed our mind and wanted someone else? My guess is he'd be pissed.
I completely agree with you.
I agree with this.
If Poggi wasn't interested, he could have gone any time. Like, after NSD.
My guess is he'd enroll at Bama and win a NC. Just guessing though.
I don't mind when players decide to take their visits honestly as far as time frame. My issue comes in when they commit to a school and still full well know that they are going to take other official visits.
I just don't understand why players commit when they fully well know that they are going to take more visits to other schools. Just makes a lot more sense to me if they would just take all of their visits and then decide where they want to commit. I suppose that just makes too much sense though.

What were you saying in 2004 or so? How about 2006?
Don't ever forget that we had our rough years as well. There is absolutely no reason to rub people nose in it coming from where we did before Saban.
