There is a policy. Whether it gets applied depends on how many stars the recruit has. It's one of those optional type policies.
You're aware it was a no visit policy until kids said I'm taking a visit anyway, then it got altered?
What part are you confused about?
Go ahead and lay out the policy point by point so I can help you out.

That can't be Poggi's dad's real twitter account. If it is, that's a really juvenile thing to post while your kid is still committed to a Big Ten school. The dad sounds like a piece of work, in the style of Craig James.
Even worse than just being a dad posting those comments, he is a coach ...
SO what the hell is going on with him? UM fans, you guys getting any info on your end? We have not
"Because Bama now sucks just like FSU used to suck when we were getting dominated by OU. Does it make sense now?"- Sliger (FSU Fan)
I don't think we have heard anything of this lately with regards to what is going on.
"Isn't it amazing what somebody will do when he can't bunt." - Vin Scully
But, yesterday TomVH (Michigan insider) was told by another 'Bama insider that it seemed like it was just a 'hangout' trip. Haven't heard anything since.
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
Not to mention Henry's brother is at Iowa.
You guys still not hearing anything?
Everything we heard up until Friday was nothing to worry about.
Hard to tell though when Poggi is on Bama's campus.
My guess is we either hear Poggi solidifies his pledge to Michigan in the next couple days, or he switches to Bama just before signing day.
Here is Biff's latest tweet. If his son is going to be playing for a team from the B10, he may want to quit insulting the conference.
@BiffPoggi: Recruiting is a process that takes constant work. The lifeblood of any team. Players win games. #SEC . The reason they as a conference win
God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
Guys on our board are saying guys on your board (either 247 or elsewhere) that is he gets a firm offer he will commit to Bama. Was just wondering if that was legit or not. Or if you guys have heard anything on that. Very strange situation here.
I haven't heard that on 247 or ESPN (who happens to have Michigan's best "insider" IMO).
But agreed this recruitment is strange.
Tweets from Biff are the strangest. He runs a HS program that produces a fair amount of talent, you'd think insulting a major conference isn't exactly the smartest thing to do. But who knows if Biff is all that smart.
Poggi's been pretty steadfast in the fact he was all Michigan, and has been talking to Michigan commits about how he can't wait to get up there.
NSD is coming soon though, so we will have to see.
BTW Weedline, if he goes to Bama it's because he wasn't smart enough for Michigan.
but of course
One of his sons already plays for Iowa.
How many spots do you guys have left for DL?
If you land Liner, is Poggi left in the cold?
Depending on how some of the other guys fall, we may only have 1 spot left and a couple of guys to pick from. For Poggi to land at Bama he will have to first want the spot, and second be who the staff selects. It's just my opinion but I think he ends up a Wolverine.
If you guys could just kindly F off that would be fantastic. Poggi means more to us than you.
interview today from another Bama site.
After the Alabama visit, where does Poggi's recruitment stand? Is he still firmly committed to Michigan?
"I'm not saying a word about that," Coach Poggi said.
I don't think we even really have a clue what position he would play. Poggi moving to offense has even been discussed. I would laugh my ass off if he took a greyshirt.

Pure speculation here, but I think Liner is in and the other DL spot goes to Vanderdoes or Poggi, maybe this new JUCO kid. After EV visits this weekend, I think we'll know where both will likely be going. Smoke is that EV might be down to ND/Bama... we'll see.
If this kid doesn't flip to Bama, I await the local newspaper headlines: "Michigan beat Alabama!!!!!"

What i don't get is BOL acting like Bama is no longer willing to take Bell and/or Connor, although we had a .0001% chance with Connor, because of that JUCO DL. Also, if that moved Poggi to being considered for that final slot, does that mean that Poggi represents a bigger need than Bell? Does that mean that Kamara or Poggi may be the luxury take? There isn't a defined roll for Poggi, and the same goes for Kamara. If Bell is truly interested, why pass? As far as Bell, i know he enjoyed UT, but even he said it wasn't Alabama. It may be a case that UA was beat out for him, but that doesn't seem to be what happened. This is getting too damn confusing.
