I'm going with bullshit on that as well
You don't know the half of it.
The pastor has a 15 member church that she runs out of a store front. So, that is tax free. She then gives 10% of her income to her church, which is still her own business.
She doesn't donate to shit. She uses this 'church' for tax free business.
Christians are always the most corrupt bastards
I really can't believe restaurants give into such c*nts demands just because they are "customers."
Many times I saw people get out of paying because they fabricated a bunch of BS complaints.
The complaint isn't BS - Applebees has a store policy that you can't disclose guest info. The waitress clearly violated it. They are within their rights to fire her.
That said, the pastor is a complete and total douche. She got called out on not tipping and being an arrogant prick about it, then she demanded that the server AND ALL THE MANAGERS (who obviously did nothing wrong) be fired, then she went out and apologized.
Pretty clear she's not sorry at all for what she did. She's sorry she got caught and exposed for being the cheap piece of tax-evading, non-tipping crap that she is.
Pushing your agenda strong today.
I somehow knew this pastor was black. No racist of course.
Ah...I'm with you. I always pay too. That's just how I was raised.

If there is one stereotype that just won't die, it's black people not tipping well.
I worked in food service and have had friends work in food service, and we all came to the same conclusion that the stereotype is rooted in truth.
EDIT: Apparently confirmed by studies:

Oh whatever. Black people don't tip. We all know that.
BornToBeRed said: WPS, just a head's up. We might be the most family-friendly board on the network, so take it easy on your normal wps-ness.
That's a fact. 9 out of 10 of them think they don't have to tip since they never got 40 acres and a mule. Ridiculous.
This. Over tipping is how you pay for one pitcher for every 4 pitchers.
Yup......the best advice I ever got was to always over tip at places you frequent a lot.(bars, restaurants, taxis, hotels, etc). Employees remember the good tippers and always take great care of them and hook them up with free shit whenever possible.
That's taking it too far.
The Mellow Mushroom across from my campus used to have Sweetwater Sundays and Terrapin Tuesdays. Always went with a couple of buddies and would split 5 or so pitchers between us, and we'd pay for 1 or 2 pitchers and each of us would throw in between 10 and 20 dollars for tip.
No it's not. That's exactly why they do what they do, or don't do what they don't do. Believe me. I've asked.
You know what they say, "how do you make a canoe not tip..."
You've asked every poor-tipping black person in the world?
We have a sentence at the bottom of our menu, "Management reserves the right to add 18% gratuity to any and all checks." My staff is solid. If they are overwhelmed or having a down night, I understand, but for the most part they do a great job. Now, if said dicktipper came back and my server said, "we got a sailboat at table 43." I'm hitting it with 18% gratuity. I back my staff and my staff loves me for it.
Entitled pieces of crap?
This is true.
No, but every one I've asked that's the answer I get.
It's cool though. Carry on your notably PC demeanor. It'll serve you well?
Glad you agree that most of the servers/waiters/waitresses etc. today come from a generation of entitled bitches.
Still waiting for you to tell me how Lennay Kekua was trying to extort money from Manti Teo though....
