I don't care if they took steroids or not. These baseball writers that vote need to check their ego's at the door. A HOF without Pete Rose, Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens is a fvcking joke.
Wish they still took the juice made baseball watchable.
I Ain't got no Worries - Lebron James
TV execs would kill to have another Summer of 98.
They should of voted murph in today... he's not a first ballot guy but he deserves to be there and no one else was clearly going to get in today..
Dive for the thrill, shoot for the kill.
I honestly don't know why people got so up in arms over Rose gambling anyway.
I understand the sentiment, but it's been documented that Rose ALWAYS voted on his team to win. How the hell is that so wrong? He's not fixing games. He never once bet that the team he managed was going to do anything but win.
Are these the same writers that covered these players while they were juiced?
None of them noticed when certain dudes started resembling pro wrestlers?
Did anyone see if Curt Schilling made it in?
I was watching ESPN yesterday and heard one of the announcers say '' Next year Greg Maddux is up for the first time and he will make it in, but no one this year deserves to make it first try"
I also shit my pants... How does Maddux, as good as he was, deserve to be first ballot but Schilling does not?
no one made it in today
Because mad dog is a top 10 ever. Schilling does deserve to shine his shoes. You can't be serious.
First time in four decades that nobody made it into the HOF
I know Maddux is better, but how does Schilling just straight up not deserve it?.... That statement and the just down right disrespect blew me away.
Greg Maddux had like 140 more wins. There's a bigger gap between the two players than you're realizing.
TURDS ALL UP IN THIS MUG. /// "2010 Auburn Tigers, my favorite team. Unbeaten in all ways." -- Dan Wetzel, April 4, 2013, 6:29 p.m.
I mean I guess you could make a case but Maddux is a no brainier will damn near be unanimous
I just looked up the stats..... I didnt realize how BIG the difference was lol. I also didnt know Maddux had like 15 straight GG's haha.
Yea he's a legend. Never once hit 90. Pure scientist
I think Glavine will be a first-ballot guy next year, too, right beside Maddux.
Two Cy Young Awards
Five 20-win seasons
World Series MVP
300 wins is sure fire HOF and it's not like steroids were ever even in question with him.
If he was taking steroids, I would have hated to see his fastball without them.
maddux was a horse on the mound. Wasn't overpowering by any means, but dude could flat of pitch.. he knew what to throw, when to throw it, and who to throw it to..
No question. Smoltz as well
Schilling will get there but 1st ballot means more. True legends. He is not
Glavine and Maddux will more than likely be the 1st 2 to go in next year... Braves pitching rotation with those 2 and Smoltz was nastyyyy
How the Braves only won ONE world series with that group still baffles me.
there's something about atlanta sports teams and their respective postseasons that just does not mix haha

I never liked the Braves but have always been a Falcons fan. Hopefully, they can make some noise this year.
Steroids saved baseball.
Don't give me that shit.
