He's not leaving. Secondly, everyone throws around the argument that its easy to win at Bama because they have a lot of selling points for receuits. How is winning at USC a challenge when they fall in the same category? He'll have them in the NC game playing Bama in two years. Then what? His legacy will be here and his tenure will extend much further than outsiders think. We've just begun.

"Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, nobody!"
Oh please...you people don't say we're horrible CFB fans? Bandwagon? Or your gameday atmosphere is the best? I've been to a few SEC games....different, yes.
Don't play the fool, you know damn good and well all of you say that, you all take credit for conference wins - SEC group think, so take credit (or slam) for what the majority of you people say..here, and come tripping over your huge egos to say on our board.

Another EFFIN disillusioned fan of Troy! Well thank God they see Lamey as who he really is. LOSER.....LOSER......LOSER

Huge egos? Says the person who touts about USC and its academics and worlds greatest alumni.
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
Hahaha - typical USC fans. Only thing classy is Pat Hadin. Did u ever notice that because USC is playing a tough game in Oregon, trollers are out to say Saban to SC, heh heh heh
Do you people, or not, claim the best game day atmosphere - because you're loud and drunk (been there to see that), claim you're the most ardent fans, claim that the west coast is filled with bandwagon fans?
Just pointing out, that even though the majority of you people in the southeast have expressed all that - ad nauseum, our former players have the same love and passion - if not more, for their alma mater as your players do...even with all your rabid fans, loud stadiums, and your adoration of a single sport, which you worship as your religion.
The only one saying it, is an idiot that gets dogged for his idiotic threads on fighton247.
Anyone with a brain knows Saban is where he should be, and he would never put up with the media fishbowl in L.A, or the bluehairs that make up the big money boosters.
USC is playing Oregon in the Coliseum, not oregon.
What you.are.describing as us, is the exact thing you are doing.
Reggie Bush called. He said eff USC.
j/k Linda. Calm down. You are getting a little carried away and that's usually not like you. No one has said USC sucks. He pointed out that we get it and that he comes here for football talk.
Hopefully we can laugh at my joke and move on. Next topic please.
challenge ? he has a challenge....
beat LSU, take care of business in 12', & become the 1st ever D1 HC to 3peat in 13'.
Only if by helicopter. I'm about ten minutes from Compton and on a good day I can get to USC in fifteen minutes.
I'm in between Compton and downtown L.A. btw.
Sounds like college football to me. I get what your saying. Listen, all colleges who take pride in their football program are like the aforementioned. I'm sure u say the same things about that other school in California "UCLA" that you say about us.
Are you on drugs or just mentally challenged?
Bi-polar. Expect either a thread how good Leonard Williams is or how bad Matt Barkley is tomorrow depending on how the UO game goes tomorrow.
Actually, most linemen on the West Coast care about academics. Look at last year with what Stanford pulled off.
Agreed, but the prestige of that degree helped bring those kids to Stanford.
Lots of kids out west care what kind of weight their degree holds.
While Peat and Murphy are two guys I'd love to have at USC, too many guys here simply don't take advantage of the education they receive. We only graduate around 60% while Stanford is in the 80% range.
I don't kid myself thinking a lot of these guys want their degrees. There should be some sort of minor league system as an alternative to college for breeding future NFLers.
Not just out West...ask Nelson Agholor and Lamar Dawson how important academics were to their decision...to name a few OOS guys.
Didn't Pat Haden just say that all but one senior was due to graduate in the fall? I know Khalid Holmes will receive his masters in the fall.
Bama is a good school.
I don't know how he did it. I'm taking geology and it is the most boring class I have ever taken. Ever. The lecture today was on ground water.
No, not all schools are good...and I seriously question the competitive nature of an intelligent individual that does not wish to be surrounded in the classroom by the top minds in the country. Alabama is a good school, not elite, but good. USC is not elite, but it is a very good school.
That could be true, but the GSR for the class of 2012 won't be out for another seven years. I was referencing the latest numbers.
USC is at 57%, an eight point drop from last year iirc. Certainly not good enough IMO.
Yes sir. Well said
Which way would that be? The road that takes you to the freeway? Or the one that takes you to Beverly Hills? Or the path of destruction known as West Hollywood? I guess if you go down the freeway a bit, you end up in Santa Monica and eventually Malibu where things get really rough...
USC is surrounded by the ghetto. Nice campus, great athletics, amazing education, but surrounded by the ghetto. And yes, it's surrounded by an iron fence in parts. I think it's an amazing school, but question how familiar you are with the campus...
Edit: just read that you were joking. If that is the case then I take back my demeaning post, but I'll leave it up for now to make myself look like a smart douche.
