Now usually my stance is, especially since I boxed from about ages 6-14, is that throwing the 1st punch is ok but sucker punches and hitting or kicking someone when they're down is off limits.
Now this could be an extremely long story so I'm gonna get down to the bare essentials, an acquaintance of mine got into an altercation. Now me and this SIMILARLY AGED GENTLEMAN are just at the same bar 3-5 times a week, are confirmed eskimo brothers, and share a small group of mutual friends but seeing him get his ass kicked would just be for me.
The problem arrives when after pushes are exchanged and a punch is thrown(by the other guy) my actual friend who works there stepped in and grabbed my acquaintance to drag him back inside the bar. At that point the other guy sucker punches the actual bouncer(my friend) who was resoving the argument...I enter scene from his right and drop him. Like drop him. His glasses snap in half, one half flying in one direction and the other quite possibly lodged in his cornea....thoughts?

You're clean with me.....although I guess the law could disagree.
When someone goes after someone doing their job like that, the gloves are off.
I blame the bouncer, a good one would have stopped it before any punches were thrown, forget about it and know( for future altercations)that the bouncer is still learning.
It was justified
you are old enough to get into a bar but still refer to your buddies as kids? Man up

Hate to say it, but if you were drinking in a bar and get into fight, then you probably have some responsibility unless you are attacked. Also since you have boxing experience you might be judged as more having liability if the guy you hit suffers damage (injuries).
Not a lawyer, but if you aren't viewed as a good samaritan, then it could be trouble.
Oh I'd never assume I'm legally in the clear because even a single punch is still a crime. I'm talking more morally wrong. And I'm no lawyer either but as far as I know anything you do amateurly isn't considered 'special training' where if you have a pro fight without headgear you're considered dangerous.
First off.. Wtf is an Eskimo Brother?
2nd, you're at a bar 3-5 times a WEEK?

Dude was wearing glasses so he was probably a skinny Harry potter looking nerd. Not cool OP.
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
He boxed from ages 6-14.. Lol, that doesn't mean much at all
1) a guy you have a mutual sex partner with
2) I have a cake job and when I say go to a bar I'm talking 3-4 beers just because I know everyone there. I 'go out' to party maybe once a week.
This. At that age all you learn is how to properly defend yourself and that violence is a last case scenario, some lessons are harder learned. It's not like they train assassins before puberty.
Not sure which part you're unsure about.
Do you guys rub balls together and 3 way? Take turns with her?
More like you just happen to find out you've slept with the same person in the past but your 2 examples still technically count.
Eiffel tower ?
Are you getting trolled or is this dude wacko?
Well, do you feel bad or not? You tell us please

You drilled a guy when he wasn't looking. Enough said.
Right or wrong, Dood was not looking.

Seems like a bitch move. Needed to give bouncer a chance. You just got hired and got him fired. Good going OP
I skipped a lot of context to get to the main point, guy harassed a lot of people before he sucker punched a bouncer. I feel bad for hitting someone that wasn't looking because it's hypocritical to what I tell others about stuff like that but I don't feel bad at all for the actual guy I hit.
Bouncers job is fine, he actually did the mature thing and helped the guy he was helping in the first place even after eating a punch.
Then the thread was pointless, OP.
You knew the answer all along
