Last nights show was amazing. This has become my favorite show. Anything coming back out this fall will have a lot to live up to if they want to better than SOA. I am really looking forward to Dexter Sunday and the Walking Dead next month.
I just got finished writing an email to my buddy asking if he watched. last nights episode was awesome
Top 3 shows for me, Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Waking Dead, in that order.
It was leaked that one of six main characters would die, I put who died as the 4th most likely. I still was shocked. I love this this season so far.
I'm pissed after last nights episode. F'n bullshit
But it was still awesome
although, I do love some zombies, I'll go Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Justified.
and you could kinda see what was coming last night, but it was good, very good.
SOA is up there, this season has been great last season was ok. my favorite shows are SOA, GoT, Boardwalk Empire, and Suits
Best show on tv. Although i haven't watched the last 2 weeks episodes because my roommate hasnt gotten our dang cable boxes yet
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
I've seen people complain that Opie's death was meaningless, unnecessary or that it made no sense. I couldn't disagree more.
Opie's death was crucial for Jax's transformation into the new leader of the club. The last scene when he was talking to Tig was a glimpse into what Jax will/has become.

I have to get the 1st season of Boardwalk Empire, I have the second season and the third season taped so far. Looking forward to watching it.
I hated seeing it, but I agree. A new Jax will be leading the club.
I predict this season of Dexter to be some of the worst television the world has ever seen
Show should have been put to sleep 3 seasons ago
I'm really unhappy about Opie's death but your point is well taken. That threat that Tara made to Jemma (that her husband, meaning Jacks) might kill her (Jemma)leads me to believe that Jacks will threaten, or even hurt, Jemma soon.

Big fan of SOA and agree with most that last night was great, not so much for what happened but how what happened will lead the show and the main characters in a different direction. Pope may be the best villian yet and I have a feeling he won't end up quite as bad as he's made out to be right now. He and Jax seem to share a like vision and path, even on opposite sides of the table and with a different way of getting there. Gonna be interesting to watch it all play out.
My only fault with the show and in particular one of the characters is Tara. I just don't buy into the whole bad girl schtick and I think her character is severely flawed and has no direction for a long future. Of course they can just jumble her character and keep her around but I just don't see value in her character being around for the long haul. Never have.
I love Tara and how she is evolving around Jax. I hope she fvcks Jemma up.
Last night i was so upset i didn't move for an hour or so. Just sat thinking about it. By far the best character in the show is gone.
If you didn't know the show is based on Hamlet so that means all the main characters die eventually.
Pretty sure it's based on Three's Company, bro.
I know your joking, but I wasnt. SOA really is Hamlet and Kurt Sutter has said it numerous times
Clay (Ron Perlman) is based on the role of King Claudius, who murdered his own brother (Hamlet’s father) to win the throne and marry Queen Gertrude (Hamlet’s mother). Clay marries Gemma (Katey Sagal), the Gertrude figure, and gains control of The Sons of Anarchy, which her dead husband used to run. Jax is Hamlet. His confusion over the SOA lifestyle is like Hamlet's melancholy about the kingdom. While Jax communicates with his father by reading his journal, Hamlet literally speaks with the ghost of his father. Ron Perlman said in an interview, “I'm sure they’re going to stick to the structure of Hamlet all the way to the end” of the series.

I was joking because I figured it was common knowledge that SOA was based on Hamlet.
I loved last nights episode. didn't see that coming
Pope is becoming my favorite character
to a lot of us, but I am sure many still dont know. It always reminds me of it after a big death in the show
I hear ya.
It was a petty comment on my part but its difficult for me to restrain when a Three's Company reference opportunity presents itself.
Tara = Ophelia from Hamlet
My wife was in tears. I knew it was someone, just didn't think Opie yet.
I have had a fragile day after losing my friend Opie. It will be a couple weeks til i am right. At least I am not a Packers Fan also or I would have jumped today
Yea, SOA is pretty much a modern day Hamlet
I can see Tara offing herself in a season or 2. Like devidee said earlier, Opie had to die to show Jax's transformation. Just sucks cause I was a big Opie fan
