State plane for recruiting. What is everyone's thoughts on this. I know most South Carolina fans will not vote for her again.
My son's message to Obama, Clemson, and Georgia
Not a biggie for me. What's the difference between OSU(a state school) using public money to buy a plane, or using one the state already owns?
Lol Fits News really? That's like citing the national inquirer
Seems to have pretty solid backup documents. South Carolina bought two planes to use. Clemson has one but the trustees use it like their personal plane. If the football team needs a plane, they should buy one.
Not a fan either, but what was untrue in the article?
Also a little in-depth research into the topic uncovers they are paying for the flights...
Every football team uses private jets on the regular for recruiting. I know Jimbo Fisher has used one a few times this recruiting cycle, you pay the plane's owner for its use.
They are paying a discount rate. South Carolina has two planes that the football team pays 100% when they use it. Also, why did they list it as official state business? Did that so they got a discount.
