General Sherman would disagree with you.
Fuck the Confederacy! Fuck Robert E Lee! The South will NEVER rise again.
When I toured Gettysburg it seemed like securing (Little Roundtop?) on the first day of the battle would of tilted the odds heavily in the Souths favor. I forgot the full story but the Union Captian that held the hill won like the first Congressional Medal of Honor ever awarded due to the strategic significance.
And we'll burn that mother f#$%*r down again
Honestly, I'd rather let them secede. The entire Confederacy will turn into a diseased hellhole and we can go all carpet-bagger and reacquire the land for pennies on the dollar.
An ugly win is still a win... when talking about games. Glad to see how you view the loss of American lives...
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
Stay classy yank.
I love how the Auburn and Alabama fans have referred to the Confederacy as ''we'' as if it still exists.
North >>>>>>>>>> South
To the victor go the spoils
south would win.
we have more bases
General Sherman's march to the sea would have never happened since Lee would have taken DC and surrounded it before Lincoln knew what hit him.
Therefore, Lincoln surrenders and the war is over.
Oh and I banged Sherman's great great great niece. Or something like that, it was a great win for Captain Albret's 2nd Calvary of South Carolina.
It really wasn't that big of a maneuver. They were already up there. All of Lee's commanders told him to march around the Hill and head south to DC. That would have forced the Northern Army to leave their raised position and they would have been crushed in open field... as always by the south.
Instead Lee ordered wave after wave of attack against the entrenched Union forces on the hill. It was suicidal. Lee was quoted saying, "My enemy is here and I will defeat him here." After the battle, he said "This is all my fault."
No shit, General.
^^^mad he created a gay thread
It's been 150 years and you're not over it yet?
I've been to Chicago, NY, and Detroit. I'm pretty sure the South won.
"So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."... Rev. 3:16
Lee's plans were to actually go to Philadelphia first then to DC. Losing Jackson at Chancellorsville hurt the Army of Northern Virginia the most. Actually Lee did not agree with slavery.
no, you dumbass northern posters made it gay because you cannot talk military strategy.
"Derp derp we wonnded becuz your genural had a brane fart."
Don't link in Detroit with Chicago and NY
Lee was a great General that made the wrong move. I agree. You happy ginger?
