That's as whiny as I've seen Spurrier.
Is he wrong? You have had a pretty nice run of avoiding the Big 3 in the east. I don't know how you perceive it, but I know where Spurrier is coming from. We were supposed to have a home game against MSU last year. For some unknown reason, that got switched to an away game at LSU. Someone is getting screwed with scheduling, and it never seems to be Bama.
You have to love Spurrier, dude doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks.
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
3 years ago, every single SEC opponent we had scheduled, including Florida, South Carolina and LSU all had bye weeks before us. Georgia was in the schedule for this year until the Aggies and Tigers ruined it all.
Alabama played and beat the best team in the east last year. They weren't on the schedule to begin the year but they sure as hell were at the end.
And so what if the SEC gave us a favorable schedule this year. You think it's the only entity that tries to protect the current cash cow?

let them b!tch
they beat UGA last year, the best in the east FWIW
Bama is scared to play the big dogs of the east
as is Les.
Errbody Scared of the east IMO
LSU coach Les Miles said Wednesday itA key piece for any confer
He's just trying to make everything equal for everyone like a real man should
why that's very honorable
What can I say, he is a genuine man who has the balls to stand up to the SEC. Should go independent IMO
Well that was kind of my point. I got no problem with the rotating schedule, it is what it is. We finally rotate into an easy one this year. I do have a problem with switching MSU at home to LSU on the road, which is what Spurrier was talking about still waiting on an explanation for.
"Best team in the East"
SC - 35
UGA - 7
Bama - 32
UGA - 28
Nothing to see here...
Quit being whiny.
Transative Florida comparison in 3...2...
So you're a fan of Obama now?
People seem to forget about the 6 teams with byes before us that year.
But no we get favorable scheduling.
GMAFB, teams need to quit whining and sack up.
Rumor is that UGA is on the 2014 schedule so now we don't have to hear the bitching and moaning as much
I remember, we were the ones that caught you.
We walked right into a perfect storm for USC that day.
Garcia played a phenomenal game as did Jeffery. Dre Kirk got just owned
The crowd was unbelievable as well. Not much you can do but tip your cap to USC that day.
The explanation is we added 2 teams to our conference that year. It don't take a genius to figure out that our schedule for 12 teams that was in place was not going to accommodate 2 more teams.
If he is waiting for an explanation on that then he is at stupid as he is a whiny little b!tch.
BEST OF THE EAST!
SEC - East
South Carolina 6-2
That game and Spurrier's first game against UF were the loudest I have ever seen our stadium. Garcia never played like that before or after, dude was unstoppable that day. Alshon was just dominating, and it wasn't even your D's fault. He was just making circus catches.
You are so angry.
How the changes were made is what I am talking about, but you already know that.
Congrats, you definitely won the east. Still 7 - 1 though. I know that 1 hurts a little.
How were the changes made? Slive and other dipshits got together and manipulated schedules enough to get 2 new teams in. May not of been the best way but we had to have a schedule and it worked. Only a whiny little b!tch like spurrier would try and pretend he didn't know how the schedule was laid out. He's never been a proponent for an even schedule but rather a proponent for him to have the easy schedule... it comes with being a fat saggy ole puss.
1 hurt much less than 2 would have
This scheduling debate is ridiculous. A couple years ago it was Georgia that avoided Bama, Lsu, and Arkansas. Now their fans are crowing about it. I bet Spurrier won't say a word when the schedule rotates around and he gets auburn and miss st. Oh wait, Spurrier can't beat auburn. I guess he will still bitch.
Even without the bye week debacle of 2010, Bama still played Florida and South Carolina. Also, nobody complained when Tennessee pounded Bama for a decade. Now Bama is pounding them this decade and everyone is butthurt. I'm not surprised though. I have a South Carolina friend that still talks about how badass it was when SC beat Bama in Tuscaloosa, even though Bama started their 3rd string qb and won 6 games that year.
I'd say that's a heck of a trade off for many years of favorable scheduling
Also Justinboze 2 of the past 3 losses to Auburn were from their National Championship season.
