Here are some artists rederings of some of the proposed stadium expansions coming.
Add any others that you know of.
In order here:
Arizona St, LSU, Mizzou
They growing over 100K and replacing all the windows. Outside should look like the Roman Coliseum and inside will be just as deadly
Yeah. They've already started some of it. Should be ready for 2014 from what I have heard. Adding anywhere from 7,000-9,000 seats from what I've heard.
Sad to see that they are going to have to get rid of the dorms for it though. I know they aren't in use anymore, but I always thought that was pretty neat.
DKR when the South End Zone is enclosed

A&M is about to drop 500 million on redoing the stadium
Once USC actually owns the Coliseum there will major $$$ pumped into renovating the old gray lady.
Looks like another perfect day.
$500 Million in TX could build a really nice new stadium. I think you guys are getting ripped off.
I always wondered why DKR wasn't enclosed. It's not like there is a lack of support... it should be a 100k+ stadium.
It's over halfway there. The state is broke and wants to unload these properties that are costing them millions every year. The Coliseum Commission which consists of a bunch of inner city politicians getting graft is already under investigation and arrests have been made. That's where last summer's story about the 2001 porn shoot came out of.
There is a lawsuit pending holding the transfer of control (not ownership) from the commission to USC but it will go in USC's favor.
Man LSU at night just got much tougher! Another 6,000 cajuns drunk in there.
Mizzou was the worst college stadium I've ever been to. We didn't think it was the actual stadium when we first pulled up...
Columbia was too spectacular either...
It already is a 100,000+ stadium. When they enclose, it will be over 120,000.
it will put us over 70 k and take down our jumbo tron, but we are also building a 10k seat basketball arena first, who knows when the bowling in will begin
Okay, I thought it was just a shade under 100k. 120k is pretty awesome and Texas would be the school to pull it off.
Replacing the Tad Pad? WTF?
yea its old, small and has become a money pit due to renovations.
I always enjoy seeing what stadium renovations are in the future for any program.
For those of you who have been to Beaver Stadium, you know the press box is the eyesore for the entire stadium at this point. That will change in time and it will mock the luxury suites on the opposite site of the stadium. The next renovation PSU has is getting new scoreboards in the endzones. Upgrading to a more modern, "HD" feel. This project was to be completed for the 2012 season but got put on hold because of the scandal and will now be installed and ready to go for the 2014 season.

Where do these schools get all this money?
Only 10K seats? LOLOLOL
BornToBeRed said: WPS, just a head's up. We might be the most family-friendly board on the network, so take it easy on your normal wps-ness.
tad pad only seats 8,700 haha its an improvement, especially with baseball being the number 2 sport in oxford right now
Donors that don't spend their money on making sure their team has a different God awful uniform to wear every game.
ASU and Wisc look ugly. Adding on the East Side here in Lincoln. More press boxes and a nose-bleed section.
