And michigan fans weren't at the beginning of the season?
3 time POTW, member since 2006, MLWTI: 4-3
All those first Downs and yards - nothing to show for it.
Keep winning though - you're helping us....thanks
Maybe he was in, I think not, but I also wanted him not to be in. (Biased absolutely.) But even if he was in that score was not the game winner. Many posters act like Taylor just won the game, he had not, who knows what might have happened. So much anger for a questionable call, and yet rough calls happen every week.
Gringo Mafia Strength Coach
It's because we're ND
Not that it matters now, but Taylor's left elbow was on the ground before the ball crossed the line... And yet no one is mentioning that. My guess is that the play was stopped by a whistle with his forward momentum being stopped. After watching the play again on dvr, it clearly shows his left elbow hit the ground before he stretched across with the ball.
"Strap on" is "No parts" spelled backwards...coincidence--- I think not!
No one wants to hear a rational explanation Milosh. ND cheated & they suck, the refs are ND fans, he scored on every down 1-2--3-& 4. ND got all the calls. That was not a personal foul call on Golson, when the defender clearly went to the head. Oh & ND is irrelevant.
Good summary IMO.
I don't see it. I've looked at it 10 times and if the whistle didn't blow, it's a TD. Didn't really care who won either and yes, it's not like that would have won Stanford the game. Personally I would just assume Notre Dame wins out. Would be the easiest matchup for my team if they're there.
B.O you are a good poster & I like you & respect your opinion. But look at it. If you slow it down or pause it at the right time you can clearly see his left elbow down as he is reaching on the second effort. Refs made the right call.
Never know how shit works out.
You might get your wish
......says the guy whose team barely beat us even though they were given the gift of 5 or so turnovers in the 1st half alone. Oh well you won that game. You should have the balls to admit that the refs gave you today's game though
99% of us felt bama was a loss and the game vs you guys was a toss up. Could you explain where the delusion is there please? I must be missing something
Come on now..
You know you guys thought you had something more.
I'm not even saying that it should have been reversed. The replay isn't definitive as a lot of the upperbody is blocked, but I would say TD, but I understand not overturning it. The call either way would have been upheld, IMO.
It would be fun. You guys could be a team of destiny or something. May not be the best team, but 1 point better than one team every weekend will do the trick. Kind of like Ohio St in 2002.
Bwahahahahahahahaha - if Denard throwing punts is a gift then shame on HOKE for having him in there.
Mich will have no Qb run threat next year and clearly no back up with anything to scare anyone.
Getting the win is the most important thing.
Game over folks, quit your butt hurt and move on.
We are ND
Been 20 years since we've had Luck of the Irish I'll take it! 13-6
Don't get us confused with Michigan.. 13-6
You seemed to have left off the one that matters 13-6 no thanks needed I'll help you out anytime.
3 time POTW
You can't say the refs gave us a gift since all that TD would've done was tie the game. It's not like Stanford would've won if they called the TD.
Actually we do.
