Haha, do people even think before they post?
No, they read a headline and come up with an ultimate conclusion. Sometimes, they even mis-read the headline which makes it and even worse conclusion.

LOL only PSU fans..... Like I said, I dont know much about the case, but I cant see fighting this as a good thing for either side.
Take that how ever you'd like, I really dont care. Just my opinion.
Then why comment on it? How about you go out there and read the 100's of articles that we as PSU fans have on the matter and then read the actual lawsuit being brought forth by the State of Pennsylvania... once you do that, come on here and talk. Oh, you may want to learn a bit about monopolies as well.
Until you do that, your opinion on this is both worthless and baseless. That is why you are being attacked.

You said "PSU might even end up out of the NCAA" without understanding any small sliver of what that would entail. I could throw out crap about OSU too without knowing anything, but that seems ignorant to me.
You do know PSU has nothing to do with this lawsuit right? The state of PA is the one suing.
That's why you're getting attacked, because you provided an opinion on something you know nothing about. The PSU BOT released a statement essentially saying thanks but no thanks about the lawsuit. PSU as a university/institution is in no way shape or form fighting these sanctions, Pennsylvania along with the paterno family are suing.
Because this is an INTERNET FORUM that's why, so I can say whatever I would like.
I didnt go and say THE NCAA IS GOING TO KICK PSU OUT! PSU IS THE DEVIL!
I was ASSUMING since PSU is a state school, they were involved because, you know... that's what makes sense?
What exactly is PA suing the NCAA for?
When you assume you make an ass out of u and me.
Thats the goal.
EDIT: Just realized this is my 10,000th post. Glad it worked out to be this one.
For all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than google it for themselves.

I dont care enough about PSU to google it... lol.
But you care enough to open a thread about it and make an uninformed comment. Gotcha.
"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge."
Why Paterno? I see no point in them suing as well.
I honestly have no clue what grounds their suing on.
Quite sure it's a defamation suit. It's analogous to the one from the USC guy.
I'm sure there's more than that. Defamation is an extremely difficult case and it appears former lettermen might be involved in the suit. Not sure how former lettermen would have been defamed by the NCAA.
Not sure about alot of things in this case Lawsuit based upon agreed to penalties
PSU agreed to the penalties. PSU is not a party to either lawsuit. Not sure what you're missing.
You do realize this is the state of PA doing this and not PSU right?
Ehhhhh ,,, Probably not.
Why don't you read up on the case then participate.
I'm ignorant enough to make a comment about it, almost like PSU fans are and were ignorant enough to believe no one at the school knew about this and to point fingers at other schools for NCAA violations, when in fact there were MUCH MUCH worse things going on in your closet.
But I'm ok with my ignorance about your over rated school... "we are.... going to suck for a long long time!"
- Agreement coerced.
- PSU interim President did not have authority to sign.
- Damage done to people who had nothing to do with the crime, yet punished.
- NCAA did not follow due process; punishment haphazard.
- NCAA is not a law enforcement agency (no authority). See Baylor basketball murder coverup for similar case.
