Pretty retarded to compare the US to Nazis. And by pretty retarded I mean really fukcing stupid.
the NSA wasn't doing anything that Americans havnt allowed private companies to do. Everyone is okay with google analytics reading your emails or scanning your Internet search terms and favorite websites for advertising. Now we are comparing the NSA to Nazis for using the same technology to follow up on people that enjoy watching beheadings or radical jihadist videos on the Internet.
Everyone agrees there needs to be more oversight. But the NSA HAS saved American lives.
It seems like many of the people that think Snowden is a hero are part of the group that thinks Obama is out to get them.
If this guy landed at Sheremeyetovo in a B-2 bomber 30 years ago, a lot of those people would think different of him. the US cant just let a guy who published classified information hang out in Moscow with Putin without repercussions.
Pretty much this. I actually don't have a problem with what he initially revealed, but it doesn't mean I necessarily trust the guy hanging around in China, Russia, etc.
One big difference...GOOGLE is voluntary, GOVERNMENT is FORCE.
You don't KNOW the NSA has saved lives, they claim that and you blindly accept that claim. Where was the NSA in Boston? I didn't' see them save any lives there. What I saw there was terror happened anyways, and then an all out police state/damn near marshall law ensure to take down two amature brothers. While people like YOU cowered in your house, ordered not to leave. And guess what, it was only when an ordinary citizen was allowed to leave his home that those men were stopped.
At any rate, I would rather be a little less "safe" than "secure" and having my constitutional rights trampled.
As I quoted above, "those who would give up essential liberty for temporary security deserve neither." That'd be you, fella.
They have left him no choice, they revoked his passport and left him a man without a state. Otherwise he might be in Iceland or Ecuador by now. Article 14 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights " (1) Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution."
The U.S has denied him that right.
Kill him BC Dana Perino said so and I think she is hot.
