Spurrier got his ass handed to him twice in one season by MIKE FREAKIN DUBOSE.
Spurrier is a joke and so jelly of Nick Saban. Every other owrd out of Spurrier's mouth is something about Saban or Bama.......he wants what Saban has but he knows he will never be thought of as highly as Saban.
So much jelly for one man. It might give him a heart attack one day.
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)

There's tradition and then there's Alabama tradition....'nuff said.
i hope you dont actually believe that^^^^
if he wanted what saban has so badly, he would kiss teen-aged boy and high school coach ass, he would look for opportunities to get on tv with players (clowney was in ny too), he would exploit loopholes in rules, he would stare into the camera like a trailor park porn video queen, he would have a penis reduction surgery, he would stand on his tip toes.....he's not jelly of saban, he just likes to break balls
I've had dudes hit on me before but this is a first on the Internet
Sorry bro, thanks but no thanks
To be fair, you did that with an embarrassing schedule and got to go to the BCS Championship already.
Spurrier's done a decent job at So Carolina but nowhere near what I thought he'd be this far into it. I'm glad he's made them a little more competitive within the SEC though as that only makes the SEC, in its entirety, look better.
very first post huh?
you gave your posting cherry to defend the bama win in 09? it was a closer game than 2010....i think you should have saved yourself for someone special.....gfy
CSS has only 1 title from UF--not titles!
Equally impressive? lol. Are you out of your freaking mind? So you think that Saban winning 3 titles and Spurrier winning absolutely nothing is equally impressive? No coach in college football is "equally impressive" as Saban.
Huh? Not quite sure what the hell you are talkin about.
Are these South Carolina fans for real? Your program has always been a joke, as evidenced by pounding your chest over a game 3 years ago when the other team has won every NC since that season.
Stick to baseball, where you actually bring something of relevance to the conference.
Did you or did you not go to the BCS Championship Game for winning 11 games and defeating 1 ranked opponent?
He hasn't won the SEC, but it is still impressive what he has done. He took over a program in a mess and has turned it around. Not everyone has the resources that Alabama has
You have to forgive him. Haters are definitely gonna hate. What Saban is doing right now is quite possibly the most impressive period for any coach in CFB history, considering the parity in today's game.
But it is 100%, without a doubt, more impressive than what Spurrier is doing or has done at USCe. Spurrier has just backed into a few 10-11 win seasons due to having some in-state freaks who were lifelong USCe fans. Wake me up when he can at least make a decent effort at an SECC.
Um, we didn't make "rings" for that until we won the 12th game with everything on the line. GTFO.
Yea, his teams didn't have to win those games....they backed into them
I'm sorry, you were pretending 11 wins isn't a big deal. At South Carolina, it's a huge deal. Especially considering Spurrier is playing more difficult schedules than Saban pretty much annually.
Only at Alabama can you accuse other teams of "backing into" wins, when they had no business in the BCSCG in 2011.
Perhaps if the SEC office were in Columbia/nearby city in SC, they'd understand.
So pathetic. Make fun of a title all you want. We have two others in the last four years. You can't deny what Saban has done. LMAO at people thinking Spurrier is the better coach. He couldn't hold Saban's jock.
Who is making fun of Bama's titles? There are several great coaches that could win at Bama
That's just not true. The perception that top programs run themselves - you can just plug in any number of coaches and they'll win - is so false. Look at Texas, USC, etc. The only person who could accomplish what Saban has done is Saban. I don't think Chip Kelly, Brian Kelly, Les Miles, Etc could win a title at Alabama. Urban Meyer might be able to. But he couldn't put together 3 out of 4. Texas is the perfect example. You can't just win titles because you're a great program.
Tell me which coaches besides Saban could win 3 of 4 at Alabama. Tell me which coaches could win 1 title at Alabama. I'm actually interested in the response.

Meyer, Miles, and even Kelly probably could.
All 3 of those guys could win 3 of 4? Seriously?
I'm not gonna say 3 of 4 but they could easily win one.
I'll give you Meyer on winning one. The others - hell no. Kelly couldn't win one in an easy Pac12 with a down USC. Miles won one with 2 losses but that's it - he inherited the structure that Saban built. Saban took the program from its lowest point in decades to nearly instant success.
