i think the problem here is spurrier should worry about south carolina and keep his damn big mouth shut about alabama. he is the one that wanted to become a cock and had a chance to become bama's coach before saban took the job! i like south carolina and i like spurrier but he should tend to his own business and coach south carolina! let saban keep winning championships for bama and let spurrier keep winning 11 games for usc! i think spurrier is a great coach and wish the gamecocks luck...their program has come a long way!

Why do Bama fans say Spurrier is just winning 10 games a season at USCe?
He's won 11 the past 2 seasons.
And has absolutely nothing to show for it. Wow. Congrats on 11 win seasons I guess.
You guys can spout the "Bama has always been a powerhouse" cap all you want, but Alabama was a dumpster fire for at least a decade before Saban got there. We went thru a cycle every 3 years that followed this pattern....4 wins, 7 wins, 10 wins, rinse and repeat. After Saban's first season, there were ZERO PLAYERS DRAFTED FROM THAT TEAM. Think about that for a second.
LSU was even more of a dumpster when he took over. They were a doormat in the SEC for the entire decade of the 90s.
No SCAR fans will respond to your post. They don't like that logic (even though it's correct).
You can nit pick all you want but 3 out of 4 titles speaks for itself. It would be one thing if we were debating one title, but what Saban has accomplished doesn't happen by accident. He faced undefeated teams in all 3 title games - the teams must have at least been decent if they didn't lose a single game combined.
OK, well, compare Spurrier's record at Duke to Saban's at Mich st.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
Jordan Jefferson, Garrett Gilbert, and Everett Golson.
None of those players are worth a single shit. How do you think any of Saban's teams would've fared against the GOAT CFB team?
Saban was very fortunate to avoid USC and instead get an OU team fresh off a 35-7 loss to KSU in 2003.
Saban has a very good gig going right now. SEC offices in Birmingham, boosters willing to dish out the cash for any player he wants, easy schedules, and lofty preseason rankings that guarantee he has a spot in the BCS title as long as he just EQUALS the season record of the other teams in contention.

Your epidermis is showing.
Wow. You sound like an auburn fan right now. Scheduling? We played UGA, South Carolina, and UF during the beginning of the title run. Expansion has obviously made scheduling difficult but quit with the conspiracy theories. It also hurts that Tennessee (our permanent East opponent and historically the #2 program in the SEC) has been down. We played #1 UF and #3 UGA in the two SEC title games that we played in before NCs. We play a marquee game to start every season (VT, Michigan, etc). And cash for players? Come on. Those days are long gone. Players are crawling over one another for roster spots at Alabama right now. You might have to pay players to show up at your awful program, but we don't.
All because of one 8-4 season? LOL...that's great but the ACC was obviously shit that year.
Isn't one of Saban's SEC Championships during a 9-3 season?
But that's the thing. None of us has bragged about that. In fact, I said a three loss season is far from elite several times.
Awww yeh they do..-
All he does is concentrate on what's goin ' on w/ his neighbors, and play the 'poor me ' card..
But I am most assuredly NOT trying to use that as an argument of why he is a greater coach than another.
So no, nothing ironic about that at all.
Um, yes you are when you marginalize his ACC title at a nontraditional power because of his record during that season.
No, I said that it was great. My only point was that there isn't much difference between a 10-2 season at Mich St and an 8-4 season at Duke, regardless of whether there is an ACC title attached to that 8-4 record.
Poll the nation and see who is the greater coach....Saban would win in a landslide.
LOL What people entertain themselves with waiting on football to start back.
Kiss the kings ring, Queens.
I can't believe Spurrier only has 1 National Title and was the coach at Florida for so long. Urban Meyer>>>>>>>Spurrier in all honesty.
SOS is 7-5 against Saban, why would he be jealous?
Two grand boys, Two state championships. 5-peat USC
Saban has more crystal balls himself than Spurrier, Florida, south Carolina, and duke have combined.
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
I was thinking similarly, would Saban be able to do the same thing at Kentucky?
No. Saban could not win 3 out of 4 NC's at UK or USCe. But he would be successful. He would have won the SEC at least once by now at USCe and if by some miracle stayed at UK this long, he would have them as a contender for the East. The man can evaluate talent to the highest degree I've ever seen and his guys play for him. It's hard to find a coach that is great at both.
In championships, yes. Which should tell you Spurriers massive underachievement.
