We aren't just committed to college football; we're early enrolling in it.

I can't say I'm surprised. This definitely validates thoughts that have been existing in the general public for awhile.
Best part of the study: "Together these data suggest that political conservatism may be a process consequence of low-effort thought; when effortful, deliberate thought is disengaged, endorsement of conservative ideology increases."
So all you Mitt supporters, make sure you read the ballot carefully and ask for any needed help when voting!

Fox certainly contributes to that atmosphere.
A new study shows that Fox viewers are even worse informed than those who consume no news at all.
Also, water is wet.
I was more under the impression that this was an innate feature of the conservative American.
To quote some guy off an HBO tv show "If liberals are so d@mn smart then why do they lose all the time?"
Edit:not.exactly perfect on the quote but good enough

Democraps should offer a reading service in ghettos. Be honest, without the ghetto vote, in major cities, libs wouldn't have a chance...
Are you attempting to marginalize a group of people in America? Don't play into your stereotype..
Just trying to marginalize a hypocrite...look in the mirror, fool.
Grasping for straws on this one
Swiiiiing...and a miss.
Miami/Dade county 2000. The liberals claimed their voters couldn't read the ballots. Remember! Lol
I think "low effort thought" is a by product of common sense.
"not exactly perfect on the quote but good enough"
Sounds like the Fox News motto. "Eh, we 're-interpreted' the quote, but it says what we want now - good enough!"
Exactly. If conservatives are such "low thinkers", why is it all the super-intellectual liberals haven't been able to stop the country's steady move to the right over the past 40 years? Even the most successful Democrat President over the past 40 years, Bill Clinton, was a moderate to conservative. You would think it would be easy for obviously intellectually superior human beings to run circles around the rest of us and get everything they want. Or, wait ... maybe that's exactly what has been happening!

Yes, because economic models and the allocation of resources in the country with the highest GDP in the world is predicated upon "common sense".
The belief that "common sense" is the way to govern the United States is what led to the 8 economically disastrous years of the Bush presidency. I would hope people have learned that we don't want the country to be governed by a guy with "street smarts" who acts just like any of us.
Oh look- A Michigander with a Detroit Tiger joke.... touche.

Noooope, but you can keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.
Deficit is being reduced under Obama, unemployment is going down under Obama, economy is recovering. Pretty much the exact opposite of the Bush years.

But maybe not in time to save his job.
The International Monetary Fund’s latest World Economic Outlook makes for gloomy reading. Growth projections have been revised downward almost everywhere.
Eh, not a Tigers fan.
Shhhh!!!! You'll upset them with the truth!
President Romney will be sure to thank him during his tour of the White House.
A well thought out, articulate retort based upon hard facts. +1.
You really want to talk about doctored video?
Hell, NBC doesn't even need to doctor video when Romney puts out stuff like his "47%" video.
James OKeefe and his fraudsters launched an attack at unions for supporting a faux make-work scheme. The only problem? He deceptively edited his video to st...

Laura Ingraham was guest hosting The O’Reilly Factor last night, and she went on the attack against Al Gore. She claimed that Gore’s climate change position has been very profitable for him. To make her point, Ingraham used doctored video of Gore’s recent congressional testimony that omitted Gore saying that he donates all of his profits back to the cause.
Truth? It was a diatribe that consisted of mainly generalities.
