Seriously. How much of that $800 billion dollars got added to bushes last budget. Quit acting like your president is this great spender. He is horrible!!! Why don't you recite some sources.
remember when i first saw this,,, effing news nowadays
“If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.” ― Haruki Murakami
Highly respected sources...
You are obviously an under educated fool. That is like saying Rachel Maddow is a competent human being.
all the sources are from websites and newspapers that have a history of a liberal bias. You people are idiots.
There is a reason "The Right" is "The Right."
What I understood from the conclusion doesn't at all imply conservatives are less intelligent. It basically says the principles of conservatism are common sense and don't really require much effort to understand.
The study doesn't lead to the conclusion that liberals are smarter, just that it takes more effort to understand what they are talking about.
You just cited a Lebanese newspaper as validation that Bernanke and Obama have been successful in turning around the economy? lol
Just because you are a lawyer doesn't mean you know anything about economics. QE3 is just prolonging our recession.
hahahaha what a stupid post.
So Romney only has "street smarts" and Obama is a genius right? Hahaha Romney has forgotten more about economics that Obama will ever know. Obama was a city organizer in one of the most corrupt cities in the US and that qualifies him to run this country? Dear God you liberals would swallow Obama's balls if he would let you.
I love how people are so quick to point out the number of black votes for Obama. I'm sure that most redneck trash won't vote for Romney because he's a white republican.
IMO, the party system has ruined the country
You guys ease off the libs. They'll be crawling out of bed in the next hour or two and be mad as hell when they see what you are saying about them.
The unemployment rate does not take into account the people that are no longer looking for jobs hence the increase in welfare recipients, foodstamps and the like. Also, the new unemployment number went down due to part time employment spike which correlates to temperary employment (retail jobs during the holidays).
This was a published study.
It's almost the first of the month...
The link provided by dpfenny should provide some good insight into the GOP voting demographic.
3 time POTW, member since 2006, MLWTI: 4-3
Nate Silver has the most accurate electoral projection model in history. He predicted the outcomes of 49/50 states in the 2008 election. No matter how you may feel about websites and newspapers, it's not like Silver only draws from biased sources - he draws on surveys from across the political spectrum, from both conservative and liberal sources, as well as many truly neutral sources. His methodology is completely transparent, if you took two seconds to look.
You can live in an alternate reality all you want, but the fact of the matter is that Nate Silver and 538 have produced the most accurate model ever, and you're doing what so many others are doing and rejecting transparent, basic math with unfounded claims of "liberal bias."
The new unemployment number has been going steadily down since its peak in October 2009. Unless you want to try to argue that it's been one big 3-year-holiday since then, a part-time employment spike for holidays isn't close to responsible for the decreasing unemployment.
I never said Romney only has "street smarts," but way to try to put words in my mouth. I'm saying that the presidency should not be held by "Joe the plumber" or any other candidate who appeals to voters because he's "just like them." The president should be one of the most intelligent, gifted people in the country. If you disagree with that, I'd love to hear your rationale.
Also, I love how you conveniently forget that Obama was a U.S. Senator, a state senator, and the Editor of the Harvard Law Review.
Just because a newspaper is from a foreign country doesn't mean it's inaccurate. (For example, Al-Jazeera is a better news source than anything in the U.S.). If you knew anything about reputable journalism, you'd know that Fareed Zakaria is one of the most respected economic journalists in the world.
Also, seeing as how you've questioned my understanding of economics (I suppose the multiple years I spent studying economics at an Ivy League school mean nothing), how about you go ahead and explain to me, in detail, how QE3 is prolonging our recession?

Don't disagree that the president should be intelligent. My problem is libs tend to think graduating from a top university automatically qualifies you to run the country. There's a lot more to running the country and making intelligent decision than having a high IQ or Harvard degree.
Being a US Senator doesn't mean jack shit. Especially in a corrupt place like Chicago. Look at who voted him in.
Obviously, graduating from a top university doesn't automatically qualify you to run the country (and it's a massive overgeneralization to say that "libs" think that it does), but there's a world of difference between "graduating from a top university" and "Editor of the Harvard Law Review." Editor of the Harvard Law Review means you're one of, if not the best student at one of, if not the best law school in the country. I graduated from a top university, but I don't hold a candle to Editor of the Harvard Law Review.
Also, damn, if being a U.S. Senator doesn't mean anything, what in the hell qualifies a person to be president?
I'll keep it short for now, as its lunch time.
-Devaluation of the dollar/dilution of the money supply.
-Creates a false sense of improvement by surging stock prices, low interest rates. What happens when rates surge back up? The bond market is going to be interesting to watch.
-Inflation is going to grow through the roof.
I can't remember who said it, but there was a quote along the lines of "Bernanke is building skyscrapers on unstable ground".
How do you think QE3 is going to be affective? How are lower interest rates correlated to decreasing the unemployment rate?
Scored 4 touchdowns...in a single game. Polk High!
He doesn't have a high IQ. Pretty pathetic college grades as well, or he'd be bragging about them while collecting $5,000,000 from donald Trump.
I like that study. It proves you can be drunk, stoned, asleep, under tremendous stress, and still be smart than at liberal
