So im tring to find a good setting on my speakers.its a 5.1 system. all my channel levels are set at 0.0db. anyone have any tips ive played with them up and down but i cant seem to find a good balance.
Does your receiver come with a mic that you can set up different spots around the room?
Bump I would like to know this as well. I have a cheap LG 5.1 surround sound 3d smart blueray system I bought with my LG TV.
if your reciever does not come with a setup mic might as well trash it or not worry ab the sounds cuz ur screwed either way

Why is that
Don't listen to that clown.
You need to sit in the spot that you are going to be listening from most often and adjust the channel levels to whatever sounds good to you.
Most 5.1 systems need to have the center channel boosted by a couple dbs. Otherwise if you're watching a movie, the dialogue will be hard to hear, but the special effects and music will be loud af.
