4.56 or 4.58 unofficial, I don't remember exactly.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Well, I stand corrected then.
It's JMO but I see Hightower as the Bama player that will wind up the best from this draft class. When I see Upshaw on film, I see stout against the run and solid against the pass, I don't see an ELITE pash rusher but he doesn't have to be an ELITE pash rusher to be an elite OLB.
I would agree with this and seeing him play in person you come away even more impressed with him.
He really does. Guy holds the point as well as any DE, but he has the quickness and burst to be an elite pass-rusher. He's short, but the guy plays exceptionally strong and is just a football player.
I agree with this. I think Trent has a shorter career due to his style of running. He's gonna need to learn to not always go looking for contact.
Hightower will probably have the more successful career
Barron ran a 4.55 after double hernia surgery. Not to bad.
Damn only 25 reps? Better give the crystal ball back I guess.
Hand it over..
"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
NFL.Com reporting Trent in the 4.45-4.49 range per various teams. Not a bad time for Upshaw considering he weighed in at 279 pounds today.
Trent Richardson posted 40-yard dash times in the 4.45-to-4.49-second range at Alabama’s pro day on Thursday according to NFL draft analyst Bucky Brooks.
Defensive back Mark Barron said he was at about “80 percent,” but worked out to show scouts where he was in his recovery from hernia surgery. Brooks said Barron ran 40 times in the 4.53-to-4.57 range and looked good in drills.
Linebacker Courtney Upshaw ran 40 times in the 4.73-to-4.76 range and had an average workout, according to Brooks.
