True or false? After he got toasted by the elite OL, they began matching him up against lower level talent at the event. I understand these guys are all still pretty good though. That is what it seemed like to me though.
Plain and simple, he showed exactly what you guys ranked him on prior to the event. He was fast off the ball and used his speed to beat OL that couldn't keep up. He really had nothing else to offer in all the 1:1 drills I saw of him. However, his athleticism is why you guys ranked him so high to begin with. I wouldn't expect him to be dropped after showing that is what he had at The Opening.
When OL were able to get a hold of him, he was usually drilled.

True or false? You are paid to evaluate high school football talent.
True or false? You used to spend most of your time trolling OSU boards.
False. Check my post history for 2012.
My question remains unanswered.
Easy there, bud.
C_wood is a scientist.
I only saw T.C. for a few reps, but I thought he was fine. If anything, he was quicker/more explosive off the ball than I thought he would be.

If my question was:
True or false? You used to spend most of your time in 2012 trolling OSU boards.
Then false would be the answer, but that was not the question.
See page 10 of said post history.
Can anyone on staff answer this?
Liar, liar, pants on fire.
All 247 staff should avoid the state of Ohio...for now. Granted I'd avoid it altogether if I were you, but I understand your job. So, just avoid it for now, for your own safety!
Good stuff, thanks for the update JC...
Your question was posed in the present tense. I answered accordingly.
Question still remains what you are paid to do.
Notre Dame fans are trolling the Scout guys on Twitter because they bumped Taco to a 4* in their ranking update, so it's not just the OSU fans.
Man if your coaches would only take the same advice, you would never have a good team.
I have to admit, pretty funny response, you bastard
Were you there?
Fence isn't working, is it?
I said "used to spend"
"Used to" expresses the idea that something was an old habit that stopped in the past. It indicates that something was often repeated in the past, but it is not usually done now.
Since you wanting to be so technical, your question was whether I was paid to evaluate high school football talent not what I was paid to do.
Not being paid to do something does not mean I cannot do it. It can also mean I had no desire to be paid to do it. At the same time, it doesn't take an expert to see that Taco was very limited in the amount of moves he was effective in using in those drills. I've said in the past I have no problem with them ranking Taco where he is based on projections and not on his current skill level. I would not have dropped him based on what I saw at The Opening either. He is probably projected a little higher than he should be, but it is hard to argue "projections" vs current abilities.
They usually don't. We need border patrol too.
No. I have watched as many clips as I could find. I've admitted in the other thread discussing Taco that I was basing my evaluation off of limited reps vs what the staff could see. However, the staff has not said one thing that goes against my findings. They just keep repeating how fast he is off the ball and that he won more battles than he lost. I agree with both those statements.
Like the Irish Guy in braveheart said "don't change the subject, and answer the folkin question"
Then who would cover half your commits?
Can't hate on Ohio if you're gonna allow them on your team, duh.
Michigan tries to take in as many as they can to save them from that awful state, but they can't take them all. I feel bad for those poor souls who get shut out.
