I'm 32, trying to pace myself..

I don't do it indoors man... I t would make your house smell like shit for a while I'm sure haha... I use it outside still and it's 100% better than the propane style. Don't have to worry about fires or it boiling over... The large can fit I think up to a 15# turkey and the XL can do a 20+# turkey.. I just got the large... I've used it for wings and fish fry's also.. I can do 50+ wings at a time... awesome for tailgating and parties

How does everyone do smoked wings.
I like the smokey taste on a wing but of course you need to finish it some other way to crisp the skin.
I usually do about 45 minutes in the smoker then crisp them up in the grill for 3 to 5 minutes.
I admit I have not gotten it quite right like local bbq restaurants yet..
How do you do it? Does anyone flash fry them after smoking?
I wish I could help you out but I always just fry wings and dump hot sauce on em. I would think you could soak them in salt water overnight, throw them on a hot grill for a minute or two on each side then finish then with smoke. The BGE makes that process easy.
Frying the turkey is the only way we do it at my house for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I've got a big stainless steel pot and propane burner as well as a big electric fryer I use inside. Only fried one turkey in the inside one as I like to be outside drinking my beer while it fries.
I also deep fry a boneless ham at Thanksgiving and Christmas as well. Damn, talk about a juicy ham, that is the only way I'll do them anymore as well.

There's a bar close to where I live that does smoked chicken wings and they're outstanding. Oddly enough I've never tried making them. Its been awhile since I've headed over there, but I don't think the guy over there fries the wings or throws them on the grill because the skin isn't crispy, but I'd be more than willing to try some that are. Can't imagine it would hurt the experience in any way.
Dude, I'm sooooo tired of road food. But that was a welcome surprise. Averaging about twenty dives a week in the last month. I'm ready to get home and smoke, drank and get my grill on.
Dude, it's awesome. My wife makes a thick paste out of mustard and brown sugar ( I hate mustard by the way). Coat the ham and make a bed of it on the foil. We triple wrap it in heavy duty foil and ease it into the fryer basket. About 20-25 minutes later you have the most tender and moist ham you've ever had.

Yeah bro, they are proud of the pizza, but its sports trivia night. Plan on getting smashed and losing in the 2nd round. Laws of drinking require at least three slices of pizza beforehand.
