That does sound like a good idea, something different other than red meat.

Get on it Willie.... haha
How did you like the lump charcoal?
So much better... I've used it for Rib eyes, chicken and burgers so far.... couldnt be happier.
Yeah dude....it is really good and based on the two other ingredients can either be sweet heat or overwhelming sweet.
Won me 18th place out of 50 teams from all over the country at the pig and peaches bbq contest in Kennesaw , Georgia.
My first ever competition...backyard grills with missing wheels competing against huge rigs...huge moment in my life because it forced me to continue on with my dream of opening up my own restaurant eventually serving great Georgia bbq.

Appreciate it brother.

Indeed I will.
I find it to be the most stress free hobby that I have ever tried
Some salmon that I cooked last week with my cherry /soco bbq sauce with a lil molasses thrown in
I agree 100%...
And its cheaper than my other hobbies... lol
Cant beat a good brisket IMO
Sounds about right haha.

It's time to clean those grill grates!
Welcome to the thread!
I posted a whole back about trying my first brisket. Going to pick it up Friday. Anything in particular to look for in the cut? Fat cap thickness? Anything I need to check?
That list looks about right. BurydaBone and myself got ours.
One thing I do is I make sure it will bend long end to long end and touch each other.
How are you going to prepare yours?
PM's sent.. godspeed
I still haven't tried smoking a brisket yet. I have smoked some chuckies though. Usually my wife just wants pulled pork, so its usually a Boston butt.
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
