UT campus one of ugliest in country.
For the second year in a row, the University of Tennessee was named one of the ugliest campuses in the country and one of the best educational values, according to The Princeton Review, which released its rankings this week.
They don't call it the concrete jungle for nothing.
I went there for undergrad and graduate and everytime I visit another school I nearly cry. Knoxville sucks in general. It has all the crap that cause locals to think its the greatest little city in the world but in reality the enlightened people know its just a shit hole in East Tennessee.
I disagree. I've been a few times and enjoyed it.
Campus is terrible. Too many hills and outdated buildings.
Love Knoxville, hate the campus area.
I"ve attended the school for three years now, and parts of the campus, at the right time of the year, are gorgeous. The other parts can be quite the eye sore. A few more open areas of grass and recreation closer to the class buildings would be appreciated. I spend most of my time in the newest building on campus though so I don't mind it too bad. A lot of construction going on next to the stadium, and that makes the place look horrible (building a new university center). Once the renovations get done by about 2015, it should look much more updated and current.
Butch Jones. Who???
Why in the hell did you go to UT?
As far as the campus I love Calhoun's down on the river, and the Tin Roof on campus is wild. Neyland is a POS though. No tvs in the portals or anything. The best thing about this year's game was Peyton Manning & the entire '98 team being on hand to see us destroy them.
