How many UGA LB's get drafted before Teo?
Nico Johnson > Manti Teo

FIFY and this
Jones and Ogletree. Not Washington, although it might be close
You could be right. But Cornwash's measurable's are greater than MT. IMO

Haha, good question. Combine didn't help him at all, as I pretty much expected. He's not a super-athletic dude. Just a good, instinctive, high-effort linebacker. Bama game notwithstanding.
Not a diss on his effort at all.
I agree but coaches will wonder why he didn't have a better career at UGA. Teo is very instinctive and it showed in college except Bama lol
Understood, I was responding to the OP's question, though.
If Te'o doesn't improve at Pro Days, I think he goes early 2nd round.
His speed is like his girlfriends, nonexistent...
Why So Serious?
Mayock has him as the 2nd best ILB after Ogletree
True. Most would agree he was better suited in a 4-3. Have to say I agree. He may end up with a long career in the NFL. Maybe longer than the others.
Teo or Washington?
He could. There's a reason he wasn't productive as he should be be UGA though. Surprising he even got an invite, even though the numbers at the combine say otherwise
Will he last past his first contract?
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
Manny Teo will go down as merely a stain in CFB history.
A complete fraud on and off the field.
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
Second round? NFL coaches think he is trash.
I wouldn't pick him in any round probably.
At best, he's an average pro ILB with very limited range and without any elite skill.
Normally, a player like him is worth a pick anywhere from the 2nd to the 5th round.
With Te'o, though, you're also drafting a locker room circus that I don't think he's worth. Almost to the extent of the circus around Tim Tebow.
I think I would just move on the next ILB on the board, if that's where your team's need is.

His instincts are what will help him in the NFL. If your inside linebacker has to run more than the first 20 yards... You have bigger problems. Mike Singletary anyone? I'm sure most of your instinctual ILB's like Singletary were more valued because of their smarts, and instincts.
"Strap on" is "No parts" spelled backwards...coincidence--- I think not!
His instincts made him look free against bama...
Body of work over 1 bad game any day.
