We aren't just committed to college football; we're early enrolling in it.

Agreed but again, its not about reality or what you or I believe
if they buy into the BS that they can win at said school, then that is all that matters
this is how teams like Ole Miss and Miami still pull big time talents despite coming off very subpar seasons
Just like Saban can walk into a struggling Bama in 2007 and immediately start signing the big guns

fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Saban + Bama = apples
Freeze + Ole Miss = oranges
You're talking bigger stadium, better support, tradition, facilities, fan base, no race riots. The works.
Agreed, but again... all of this stuff is what nerds on computers argue about
Most kids that actually play football don't really care about this crap, all they care about is a few basic things that I have already mentioned
You are listing things that fans take more pride in than some 17 year old kid ever will
1- can you convince them that winning is possible along with play time being available
2- can you supply them with cash money here and there
3- do you have coaches they get along with
4- do they see guys at their positions who played at said school and moved on to the NFL
In terms of listing support and tradition, you're probably right. But stadium, facilities - those are still big deals to kids. Some of these kids do still come from shoe box weight rooms with rusty squat racks. But, most schools are up to date with that stuff.
Of your 4 items listed, I'd agree with all except #2. I honestly don't think that comes into the process through the coaches except in the most renegade of places (cough Miami, cough USC, cough Auburn). I think most college coaches are pretty clean.
So NoVa, what are these teams supposed to represent? Which players will do the best in college?
Im not a big fan of Greg Bryant, and i think Henry will surprise some people next year at RB. But besides that this is very good and I wouldnt change much at all
Just players I like, it mostly represents my boring last few days
I gots the AIDS right now, or FLU.. whatever you call being sick these days
