Really enjoyed that episode. Powerful ending.
Yeah that was a good one
Been a very good season
Im very critical and nothing has truly bothered me so far
Just had a friend mention this one today, I'll wait to read the thread until after I've watched all the episodes.
Anyone not like it?
The media critics.
thought the episode was great because of the event. but like others have said about earlier episodes, the love triangle is playing way too much into the rest the storylines.
I like the show so far (I haven't watched the most recent episode). It isn't exactly "Neutral" as far as right & left goes, but I haven't disagreed with the criticism of the far right yet.
If this show really does point out the craziness of all sides, then it should be a big winner.

Yeah true but i expected it with Sorkin's h worded ass
Its not killing it for me so far, the one dood hitting on Sloan had me lolzin
The love triangle isn't doing it for me at all. Seems like its completely forced and serves no purpose. Only major complaint with the show. A little worried on the accelerated timeline they are moving.
I doubt Sorkin will turn the camera as heavily on the left, but he's certainly got the right and the tea party nailed down.
Phenomenal show. I haven't watch Game of Thrones to say its better but its certainly better than everything else that comes to mind.
It is solid but way down the list as far as HBO shows go. It is probably their 3rd best show currently behind GoT and Boardwalk. At least IMO.
Boardwalk isn't my thing.
I like The Newsroom, a lot. I may give GoT a chance now though.
The Newsroom is really good sometimes and other times feels like something I would see on network TV with the love triangle BS.
The Newsroom and Breaking Bad are pretty much the only thing worth watching right now.
And the comedies, Wilfred and Workaholics. Hard Knocks starts Tomorrow night.
Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
Never liked Hard Knocks. Only time I watched is when they did the Cowboys.
Anyone watch the finale? Pretty decent.
Only thing that bothered me is that there was no way that Don would not dump Maggie in a second for Sloan. No way in hell.
Seriously. Olivia or the girl with the weird cheeks? Yeah right.
But you missed the worst part. They added in another female character, and again she's just not terribly attractive. Not a very good looking cast for an HBO show. (sorry MSN, just want another hot girl after Olivia).
Came together at the end. I rate the first season A-. And your right about Sloan Sabbath... Now looking forward to season 2 of Boardwalk
Is that actually the same actress from the first episode. Chic looks different to me.
Definitely looking forward to Boardwalk. Especially with the way season 2 ended.
Season 2 plot point?
quit watching the newsroom, just didn't grab my attention by the 4th episode. Best show for me right now is Suits
Had never watched the show until this weekend. Burned through 9 eps quick and have the finale DVRed. Pretty cool show and i look forward to the ending
I also look forward to comcast getting a dvr that can record more than 2 shows at once. EVERYTHING is on sunday night

I was yelling at the tv for that. I turn girls down when I am drunk (and when I am drunk my standards are low) who look like Maggie. I would take Olivia Munn to pound town the first chance I got.
I would have done it in front of Maggie. Wouldn't think twice about it.
I've yet to read anything in this thread and refrained from posting in it intentionally, but I'm trying to drink myself to sleep right now because it's fvcking gameday tomorrow, can't sleep like a kid on Christmas Eve, and I've watched every single episode of this show without expressing an opinion.
This show is one giant, cheeseball abomination. I feel like I'm watching E.R. in a bottom feeder cable news station. I almost wish I hadn't read Aaron Sorkin's interview prior to it's debut. Then I wouldn't have known ahead of time that he's the only person in Hollywood who admits he politically doesn't know WTF he's talking about, but still wants to provide political opinion on everything with his fictional entertainment. The only thing that keeps me watching is that Jeff Daniels' character is a self-hating Rebublican who extrapolates every episode about the things I despise about my conservative leanings. Getting to see Olivia Munn every week doesn't hurt either.
The perpetual love triangles and inter-office mingling degrade this show to the intellectual level of Grey's Anatomy. Not to mention the mouse-faced Brit ruining every other scene, solely with her presence.
