I cannot stand Maggie. Hoping she gets killed off in Season 2
I agree with everything you said......yet for some reason we both watched every episode.
Season premier tonight. Anyone watching?
This post and the one he quoted are freakin spot on. And yes I'm definitely watching.
Ha. Yep. Still all over it. Re-watched season and couldn't stop. Watched with a gun toting, card carrying republican Cajun last week and he said the exact same thing.
I'll watch as filler. The killing and Rectify are ahead on the list

Not overly impressed. Guess I'll continue to watch. But wasn't that good IMO.

Yeah. Episode 1 season 2 gets a big ol' MEH.
Same here. And if they really are gonna make Maggie even uglier for this season Im done
S2:E1 didn't have the splash I was hoping for, but I want to see how the plots unfold.
Like a few have mentioned earlier iTT, if you can harness your personal political views, you can enjoy a good TELEVISION SHOW. If you can't, the combination of Sorkin and Fonda may cause you to throw your remote through the tv.
I think this season is probably taking an entirely different approach. Season One had a "high drama" event in almost every episode. I think the 11 minutes (yes I've timed it) of the Gabby Gifford "coverage" was some of the best dramatic TV I've ever seen. And that's even while knowing how it played out. And to make sure they captured the viewer, they pretty much had to make it that way.
Season 2 seems like they plan on setting up a bunch of different story lines and letting them play out. The slow role vs. the wham bam thank you mam season 1. I wish they'd just drop the whole Jim/Maggie thing. It's just not interesting at all. If they want to give me a bunch more Sloan, I'm game.
