He's better than any B1G coach except Meyer.
Ok I'm good with those. I've watched 2 1/2 games now, but I'm just as qualified. Those are fine
Is that girls or boys?
Is that your reasoning for saying Richt > Hoke?
Yea....well..... Hoke weighs more so he must be better, since there's more of him, ya know.
Hoke is 1-1 against Dantonio, Richt is 0-1. Clearly Hoke>Richt.
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
I don't think we're permitted to call them girls anymore. And TBH, after the PSU scandal, we probably shouldn't be using boys anymore either. But otherwise, I'm impressed with your post. Good to see we can finally agree on something without allowing our biases to creep in.

I'm not saying Hoke is better. I'm just saying that is poor logic.
TIFWIW (which is not much) ...
RT @Mark_Schlabach: Now I'm hearing #UGA to Cap One vs #Nebraska; #LSU to Cotton; SC to Outback and A&M to Chick-fil-A & Miss St to Gator
Stewart Mandel @slmandel
It's official: Nebraska to play in Capital One Bowl
@Mark_Schlabach: Looks like SEC and Big Ten offices got involved to protect champ game losers
Funny how delany didn't do that for MSU last year...

Good. Outback Bowl last year was a very good game.
That said, Big 10 is going to get punched in the face repeatedly during bowl season.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
First of all, Schlabach is not a B10 guy. Second, I doubt the B10 had to twist the Capital One's arm to take Nebraska. They jumped over MSU to take UNL last year. But we will never know for sure (and that includes Schlabach, who is just guessing). Third, it makes more sense that the SEC intervened on UGA's behalf because A&M is hot right now and the Capital One very well could have wanted them. But again, it's just speculation. No one from the SEC or the Capital One is going to admit that publicly.
Edit: Also, the SEC already probably had to step in to avoid a rematch between Clemson and USCe in the Chik-fil-A. One of LSU, UGA or A&M needed to go to the CFA to avoid the rematch and that probably wasn't going to happen if the bowls were just allowed to just pick in order without somd SEC tinkering. By sending A&M, the SEC avoids the PR hit of having it be the SEC Runner-up. Makes sense.

This is why I'm skeptical he did it this year. Nebraska is a better pick than NW on every level. I doubt the B10 did anything other than possibly work with the SEC and the bowls to avoid a NW-Vandy rematch. We will have to wait and see where Michigan and NW land (either still could end up in the Outback, though Michigan makes more sense to me).
So what did I agree to mens or womens rankings?
Men's, of course. Who in their right mind would waste time discussing women's basketball?
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
That's to be seen.
That lady coach from Tennessee or the uconn coah?
Block M and pictures of Coach Hoke and Denard now on front page of Outback Bowl website.
Yep, can't hide amongst ourselves anymore. The b10 pillow fight season is over.
Watching the SEC yesterday it was amazing to see CFB played at that level. My eyes have been royally abused by watching B10 football this year.
Congrats to UM on their Outback Bowl bid.
I'm a geek, I'm excited to see Lewan Clowny more then the game
I think it'll be MSU - TCU. Could be fun. At this point, MSU's bowl is a chance to work on fundamentals.
Has anything been announced officially for you guys yet?
Edit: Purdue headed to Heart of Dallas Bowl.
Yea, MSU is in the BW3 Bowl. Opponent depends on whether or not Oklahoma goes to a BCS bowl. Won't know until late tonight. I'm betting either TCU or Baylor.
BCS - K-State
BCS - K-State
Cotton - Texas
Then 5 teams finished 7-5: Ok State, Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech and WVU
Next Bowls are:
Alamo - picks 3rd (4th if OU goes to the BCS)
BW3 - picks 4th (5th)
Holiday - picks 5th (6th)
Meineke Car Care - 6th
Pinstriep - 7th
Heart of Dallas - 8th
Pretty sure Heart of Dallas is going to get Iowa State.
Ok State finished 5-4 in the conference, so they're probably going to the Alamo Bowl.
Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech and WVU all ended up 4-5. Your guess is as good as mine.
