@MGoTalk: Jt Floyd, Brandon Hawthorne, and Will Hagerup all get kicked off the team
Im not sure who Hawthorne is, but Floyd and Hagerup would be huge losses, if true. what happened?
It sounds like Horford will be okay though, so thats good.
Isn't Hawthorne a LB?
No clue on what happened. MGo posted a link last night that's since been taken down
It sucks short term, but I believe JT Floyd and Hawthorne are seniors. Matt Wile has punted before and IMO is a better punter than Hagerup. This doesn't mean a lot for 2013 but it sucks for the bowl game.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
If true. Hawthorne wasn't going to see the field, buried on the bench at LB. Floyd is a RS Senior. The bowl game would be his last game, and sucks for him since he is from SC. Hagerup has been in trouble and suspended in the past. Wile filled in for him when he was out. He was a Junior.
I haven't heard the details, but I had read speculation that it wasn't season ending.
Didn't Hagerup just win the best Punter award in the B1G?
Beilien said he hopes it'll be 2-3 weeks.

Have confirmed that #Michigan players JT Floyd, Will Hagerup, and Brandon Hawthorne have indeed been suspended
It sounds like it's official now. The only thing that is realy going to hurt from this is CB for the bowl game. We already lost Countess.

wasn't Hagerup punter of the year?
Hasn't Hagerup been suspended before too?
He wasn't that impressive. He's boom one and then hit one of the side of his foot the next possesion.
I'm not that broken up over the suspension of Floyd. It sucks for him that he won't be able to play in his last college game, but he consistently gets burned by average WR's. I doubt his replacement can do much worse. Losing Hagerup sucks because he does a great job punting. However, Wile has punted for Michigan before and he has a strong leg.
Very curious what they all did. Either way, clearly a poor decision by all of them
Could this be a reason why Norfleet moved to CB?
Wonder what they did. If felony larceny and DUI is only a 1 game suspension, assume its on the same level as that

There has speculation of something like that for a few days.
I've heard drugs mentioned as a possibility for Hagerup. Also, Clark/Fitz's situations occurred a while before the season started and Hoke had said that they both had met his criteria for the suspension which is why they ended up playing. I think that if a felony was committed in season by a player then the punishment would be more than one game.
Looking at Hill's 40 time, he ran the 4th fastest 40 at the Opening, a 4.44. His time was the 13th fastest in the nation when combined with all other SPARQ test conducted throughout the year.
Many have wondered for a long time on why he never received an offer from Michigan. I am just glad he got the offer that he always wanted from Michigan and committed. Hopefully that speed translate to the field.
Congrats to the kid
Not sure why he never got the MSU offer he was looking for
