Good point with Indiana. Arizona is another one that Rabid mentioned.
Brian's UFRs really help, they are great reads during the week. Bye weeks are a bitch though.
I agree with xxmgobluexx up there...if I had the talent and the offers rolling in I bleed green but UCLA might tempt me to go else where. I love California and given their history and prestige I'd be tempted.

Maybe I'll try to go to the game and I'll hold up a sign with the name of this thread on it.
to all that keep the thread going. To have to start over and be at 26 pages already proves that the hatred is strong. Keep up the good work guys,
I'm out of here. Have a good weekend everyone.
Good luck in our game tomorrow Steve.
You get that on TV, I will upvote every post of yours from that day forward.
Florida? You guys are on crack. Arizona would have been, but not really anymore. I guess UCLA kind of has to be on the list, but they haven't done much in 15 years.
Purdue is one that is usually an underrated offer, but probably not above MSU.
Georgetown should probably be on the list.
For some reason, 3 traditional football programs have made their basketball offers get a lot of attention too; OSU, Texas, USC.
laconophilia is everywhere...
What? Yes, Florida.
Since the turn of the century, Florida has won two NC's, been to three F4's, five E8's, five S16's, and won 4 conference chips.
MSU can't match that.

Try 8 S16's, 6 E8's, 5 F4's, 5 conference titles, and 1 NC. Looks like MSU wins in everything except the NC...
But regardless, that's not why I don't think Florida should be in there. I think Florida shouldn't b/c they've never been anything prior to the last 10 years. They hadn't even made the NCAA tournament prior to 1987. If Florida keeps it up for another 10 years, then I'll count them among the blue bloods. But until then, I still see them as a bit below.
NC is the goal though. That's ultimately what teams shoot for.
I agree with your second part though, I guess.
Never understand why that guy never gets the respect he deserves. 2 NC’s>
It’s not like you can make the talent argument either.
Izzo and Carr seem very similar. Both won one NC and went to a crap load of Rose Bowls/ Final Fours and struggled at the end of their careers.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
speaking of florida, a Chicago HS Prep analyst thinks they've passed Duke for #2 on Jabari Parker's list.
He had MSU at 38%, Florida at 30%, Duke at 28% as chances to land Jabari
You can see the future?
Tickets for tomorrows' MSU game are going for 2 dollars. Are you guys still expanding your stadium? I remember thinking that they would never fill if they ever struggled and I guess I am right judging by the MSU fans response to this year. Tickets never went for 2 dollars for a Michigan game even in the Sheridan years and we have a larger stadium to fill.

He hasn't done anything the past two years and you guys are always saying he's at the end of his career.
He won the Big Ten and went to the sweet 16 last year
That's comparable to LC winning the Capital One Bowl which was a low point in his tenure at Michigan. My point is that Izzo's teams have fell off the past two years compared to what he did earlier in his career which is comparable to LC.
ALOT of rumors of Maryland to the B10 in 2014 going around. where there's smoke...
That would be a terrible addition. They bring nothing football wise and they don't hae a passionate fan base like PSU, Ohio, Nebraska, Michigan. They would be like another Illinois with having a good bball team and a terrible football team.

Duke, Kentucky, UNC are about the only cut cut offers that are more "valuable" than MSU IMO.
If Kailin Lucas doesn't tear his ACL I think Izzo has two NC's.
HS friends dad will be at his 400th Spartan game tomorrow. 380 at home Mark Hollis is putting him in the AD suite. He's going to wear his 1942 beanie cap all freshman had to wear back them. Very cool of Hollis to set him up.
