Are Iowa, Northwestern and Minny great teams? No. But he's putting some extremely good numbers regardless, and that makes me think that he'll be at least "solid" against tOSU. Should be a very good game; tOSU looked very vulnerable against Wisky, and UM's D is better than UW's.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
The Buckeyes' defense is a lot like NW, Iowa, and Minny. If we stop BM, we win easily. If we have trouble with BM, it will be a shootout.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
Extremely good numbers? His QB rating through three games would put him in the NCAA record books as the 2nd highest ever if he played QB in enough games. Devin Gardner is playing as good or better than Maxwell has in any of his games in his first year as a starter (take your pick). Depending how each QB plays next weekend, he and Braxton Miller probably will be considered neck and neck as the two best QBs in the B10 going into 2013.
Is it too early to be looking at THE Game next year as a 2006 repeat. Both teams having extremely good players coming back and extremely easy schedules.
It's pretty emabarassing for MSU that the qb and backup qb are better than your starter.
Maxwell is a bad QB and shouldn't be the bench mark to compare with any QB.
That being said, Gardner is a good QB. I wouldn't put him as great or elite but he's a good kid to have back there. Here come the crazy UM fans that will debate me endlessly because I didn't say "insert anything UM related" is the greatest ever!!!
Gardner looks a lot better. However, let's see how he plays out against OSU. His NFL spot is receiver, and all of uofm's coaches agreed with me till Bellamy took a dump. Of course the yahoos wi spin it as they didn't agree with me, that's why he got sooooo many snaps in practice.
I'll hang up and listen to the spin.
YOUR have been banned from reading and posting on the Michigan Wolverine board.
Yes. We both need to be 11-0 and ranked in the top 2 in the BCS. So it's a bit early.
No one is going to debate you. We don't respect your opinion enough to care what you think.
If it did happen, there would be a huge controversy if they split the last two games. Delaney really should have put us in the same division.
Please provide a link to a single quote by a UM coach that Devin Gardner's "NFL position" is WR. Thanks. I'll hang up and listen.
He's the same guy that goes on temper tantrums in this thread when MSU loses.
Oh please. The amount of responses I get from you is ridiculous. You send your bs my way constantly. I don't even have to be talking with you and boom, some reply from woodson. It's like clockwork.
. I'm the one who has said Gardner will play WR in the NFL. He's not going to be a QB. your coaches were forced to move him to 1 fro 3 because we all saw the Nebraska game. THEY MADE that switch because they watched film of the kid play QB last year.
Spin as much as you want but your staff felt the exact same way I spike about him LAST FALL.
That said, I think his presence is a ton better this year and maybe he learned that from understanding how db's break on receivers from playing wideout. He's better then last year.
Right, you had to change your name because so many people blocked you. Even your name screams inferiority complex. Isn't OSU your big rival? Shouldn't you be chatting it up with them instead of the MSU thread? Transparency, I can see through you.

He pops in every couple of weeks to troll and tell everyone how superior he is because he's an accountant (yes, an accountant). I'm glad he's employed. And there is nothing wrong with being an accountant, but please stop making it out to be something special. It's barely a profession. It's closer to a trade job than even a doctor or a lawyer. And I don't give a rats ass what any of you do for a living or how much money you make. I guarantee you I am on the very high end in that conversation myself. It doesn't make me a better person and certainly doesn't add anything to my knowledge of football. I do not come to 247 to read post after post by an MSU troll who is constantly trying to convince everyone (and himself, apparently) that he is somehow superior because he's an accountant.

No. You said all the UM coaches agreed with you his NFL position is as a WR. Based on what?
You're still getting the schtick wrong. It's less about being an accountant and more about ripping on the poor UM fans that want to act superior because of the team they cheer for on Saturdays. I find it hilarious when the guy bagging my groceries makes comments about my MSU shirt. The pathetic soul will work until the day he dies.
Look at how much it eats at you though. I, honestly didn't know you felt that strongly about the random stupid posts I make. Do you take them that literally? You know it's a joke... right?
What did Shakespear say about accountants? He was right.
What eats at me is how obnoxious you are. Why do you need to put down the person bagging your groceries? Does it make you feel better about yourself in some way? You are no better than that person. That person works just as hard as you for much less money. And he probably doesn't have your education, which makes it even worse that you have turned out to be the more ignorant one. If you need to put other people down to make you feel good about yourself, you have a problem. You must be very unhappy with yourself somewhere deep inside. It's a sad way to go through life.
Q: What do you call 100 accountants at the bottom of the ocean?
A: A very good start.
Oops ... that's supposed to be lawyers. Sorry. No. What did Shakespeare say about accountants?
No I said the staff at um agreed WITH MY OPINION that he was a better WR in college then a QB. Not with their words with their actions. If in saying that it was implied I said they verbally said it, mea culpa. I then said many times that WR would be his NFL future. I'll stand by it.
Last spring your coaches heard my genius and made the move. Their mistake was in not giving him more third string snaps and realizing Bellamy was a turd quicker. Their idiocy cost you Nebraska.
Well, it's not a literal example. There isn't an actual guy bagging groceries where I then berate him in some random Kroger or Meijer or something. I typically use it as my go to when some schmuck UM fan wants to call MSU little brother. Like an entire university of students getting an education to go on and be leaders is some little brother to a UM fan. A fan because he likes to attach himself to a winning tradition. That I find to be the most pathetic thing about your fan base. But I find a lot of things about UM to be pathetic.
