My bad. I was thinking it was two years in a row. Like I said, I was a toddler at the time. I'm not a history buff like you UM fans.
I'm not so sure it's a grammar issue as much as a factual issue. Critical Thinking 101, bro.
So now his recruits were good. When RR was here, MSU fans were quick to point out that RR's recruits were busts.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
They have one of the worst back 7s in the big ten and Wisconsin was able to slow BM down.
I definitely think RR's recruits are able to go 8-5 like they're likely to do this year. I see nothing out of the ordinary.
Not much to get back to evidently for you as a Spartan fan. Getting back to late collapses?... While Dantonio looked to perfect that this year.
Right. So says the Canadian fan that doesn't live in Michigan... or the US... or attended UM... or has any connection to UM. You're so far removed from the UM culture that you have a pick of the guy that brought down UM basketball in the biggest NCAA scandal ever.
I find it hard to take anything you say seriously all the way up in Canada. It's like me jumping on some CFL team bandwagon. I do think that the punt returns in the CFL are awesome though. They just start punting them back and forth. Awesome stuff.
I love college hoops. Hoya Saxa.
Well, I think this means Duzzi will almost certainly end up as the HC at Rutgers in the fairly near future...
I think UVA is the likeliest next addition, to firmly grab the DC market. Perhaps VT as well....
laconophilia is everywhere...
Why would Rutgers change coaches?
I meant at their next coaching change, which I assumed would be fairly soon. Not familiar with their recent history.
Read this one before.
LeBron brought down UM?
They’re 9-1 right now under Flood. Some of you probably remember they’re former coach Greg Scheanio (sp?) who is now coaching the Tampa Bay Buc’s.
IMO Duzzi’s next job should a DC job at a big time program. Place’s like USC, UTk, Auburn and maybe Texas and ND will be looking for DC’s. It would probably be easier working his way up that way.
They just changed coaches (Schiano left to take the Tampa Bay job at the end of last season) and their new coach is 9-1. He's likely to be there for a few years.
I think he got you confused with me . The Ed Martin/Fab 5 scandal was big but I’m sure it wasn’t the biggest in NCAA history. Just off the top, the incidents at Baylor, SMU, and recently PSU were much bigger.

The WMU head coaching job just opened up. He knows the recruiting region very well and needs HC experience. If he wants to be a HC at a major program someday, that makes more sense to me than taking another DC position in a different region of the country.
Maybe idk, it just seems today all the hottest name’s for HC jobs are all coordinators. Smart, Diaco, Kliff Kingsbury, Chad Morris, etc. Some of these guys are HC’s like Strong, Malzhan, and Dykes but the majority seem to be coordinators. It just seems like an easier route for success IMO.
I don't know.....I could see IU dropping 49 on 'Bama.
Your great white whale is the Rose Bowl which you've been chasing for over a quarter century yet somehow it slipped your mind? Puh-leeeeeeez
FWIW, it'd be over a $100K/year pay cut. He just got raised to $500K from around $265K this year. After 1 year, he's going to jump to a $375K job? I know it's not all about the money, but I maintain that he's holding out for an AQ Conf. job.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
How long does he hold out? There's a point of diminishing return if he waits too long. Age, luck, and appeal all wear off as time goes on. To put it another way, he needs to strike while the iron is hot, because it doesn't stay hot forever.
Maybe he stays until Dantonio retires and then takes over.
Could be. Lloyd and Mo were long time assistants. Although they both went to Illinois when Mo got the HC job there. Thankfully, Bo brought them both back after their short stay in Champaign.
I know you're trolling but two of those losses came from the teams that are set to play in the National Championship. It doesn't change our record but I'm not sure there are many teams who would have done better under the circumstances.
No clue. He's 46. It's all about opportunities; I don't think he's going to take over a team just to be an HC. I actually wouldn't be shocked if his name came up at Purdue or the like.
My $ is on Mike Tressel taking over at DC if Narduzzi leaves.
What are you MSU fans hearing about Reschke? Nothing until after the Championship game?
When I first heard he received an offer I thought there was a 0% chance he would decommit from MSU and go to Michigan. With what some are saying though, I am bumping that up to 0.1% chance.
