All of our OL were openng day starters last year except for Mealer/Burzynski.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
Iowa beat Michigan.
Stonum didn't play a down last year. Give it up. Stonum never played a down while Hoke has been the coach.
No crap, this cope cat is a straight up blind homer. He counts Stonum for Michigan this year, and then states Nichols doesn't count for MSU as a loss because Fowler was hurt and blah, blah, blah...

but he actually did well when he was the # 1 WR in 2010. With Hemmingway the # 1 last year, his numbers went down.
And that is why The Game runs so deep.
If you can't see this then you have no hope. Stonum didn't play last year. Therefore, he could not have been the 2nd best receiver last year. D'oh!
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
If Maxwell gives MSU those #'s.. they win the B1G
Yes Michigan lost to a .500 Iowa team on the road. That doesn't make MSU's victory over them on the road any more impressive.
but he didn't play last year
I see. You can discredit Michigan based on what-if scenarios. I'll just use games that actually happened.
Ah, good old mythical road losses.
Replaced by Barnum, another opening day starter.
All I am saying is that Stonum's loss hurts the overall depth of UM's WR core that much more as he was going to be, most likely, the #2 WR for Hoke this upcoming season..
I'm well aware he didn't play LY..
My entire point was that he, if still on the team, would be the #2 WR for UM this year
Saying the #2 WR THIS year.. 2012.
And you expect the production to be the same?
You are assuming. Going off of last year Michigan returns 2 of it's top 3 receivers.
You said: "just saying UM basically lost 2 of its top 3 WR's from last year with Hemmingway and Stonum gone."
opening day starters:
Barnum was an opening day starter, Schofield started, Omameh started, and Lewan started last year
LOL and he only started 3 games..and only played in 4
Did I say that?
If Calvin Johnson were on the team this year, he'd be our #1 receiver. And jusf imagine if we still had Desmond Howard and Charles Woodson. Wow, this game is fun!

Pretty close. Barnum is an excellent OL.
Can we have Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson too?
yep. I agree
Simply saying Stonum, most likely, would have been the #2 WR for UM in 2012 if he was still on the team and that loss hurts some in overall depth of the WR's at UM
