Ok, so the destination where he spent the longest at DC (ND), is the one you throw out of his record?
Again, you aren't going to convince me (and are actually supporting my position that Narduzzi > Mattison in doing so), so let's just change the topic? How about ND's record this year? They're a mutual rival and could provide a quality W for either of our programs.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
We're all glad you're not Dantonio and he hired Narduzzi.
Seriously, some coaches can't just hire the established best there is. The budget won't allow it. Some have to study who is up and coming, their work ethic, relationship with coaches and kids and then take a chance. It appears Dantonio guessed right with Narduzzi, just like he often does with two and three star players.
YOUR have been banned from reading and posting on the Michigan Wolverine board.
Tough schedule, but I could see them at 9-3..
@OU and @USC seem like losses
Then one loss between @MSU, UM, Stanford, BYU
I know WHY you think Narduzzi is better. You are a Spartan fan. Opinion is opinion. But, I was trying to teather the opinions to reality. While someone might think that their girlfriend is hotter than a model, if it is clear that your friend is biased after checking her out.....well you have to point that out.
It's like we are in the late 1990s and you are saying Kerry Wood is better than Randy Johnson. Woods showed some good stuff as an up and comer, but had not proven he could repeat his success and had not done it in the playoffs. Wood did a lot on a bad team, but he only had a couple seasons of looking good. He didn't have the resume of someone who had been a top pitcher for years.
You might be excited about Narduzzi and think he has the POTENTIAL to be better than Mattison one day....but there is not way he is a better DC based on what we know now. Your opinion can differ, but it isn't based on much....and that reflects on the objectiveness of your other opinions too.
What do you mean, you just made up that quote. I guess you can make it up.
You do know we are all smart enough to catch someone who exaggerates what someone else says and then makes fun of that person for exaggerating things......
Argue and debate all you want, but just be honest buddy. You seem to lose credibility by each post... no wonder people have taken to ignoring you.

B1G Best/Worst case scenarios are hilarious. Michigan's is out
Our look at the best- and worst-case scenarios for every Big Ten team moves on to Michigan today. These scenarios should not be viewed as predictions;
No genius, hell, his natty ring might even be bigger than his brain. This is 1 of the more lame arguments that even lead to rocky throwing out msu only stats, as if his career is based off msu only. Overall body of work, mattison hands down. Narduzzi is a stud though and will be a HC somewhere in 2 years. Comparing the 2 at this point in there careers is apples to oranges based on lack of time at their respective positions. Rediculous 1 sided stats being thrown on both sides of this argument
Edit-im probably as objective as it gets (usually) on here. Looking at it from a business perspective, you are down to 2 candidates. 1 is more of a seasoned veteran who will require more Cheddar, and has reached as high as it gets at 1 point in his career. The other being a younger, on the sharp rise, up and comer, who has made serious waves the last 2 years, and is considerably cheaper. Toss up for me here, ill take either 1, and be happy with the decision

Yep, it's my opinion, which I stated several times. No more, no less.
Yep, just another thing we disagree on. I would take Mattison with his resume, his turn around of the Michigan defense from one of the worst in CFB to one of the better one, and his ability as a recruiter. Mattison wouldn't care what you thought, and most here don't either. It is to be taken with a grain of salt with subjects like this.
Just because he's won a NT, doesn't make him a good coach
You have to be at least somewhat good to win a NT. A NT isn't something you just accidentally stumble into.
We all should just give up on cope. Just and let him think what he wants.
Other people have taken to ignoring you, no wonder.
What don't you understand about that? Obviously I haven't because I am trying to save our "somewhat" reasonable discussions from turning into a "crap festival" by you.
Wags asked what his record was vs. MSU. I provided it. That's all. Then Woodson said we should ignore his ND tenure.
so are you saying he's good because he won a NT?
Yep. He will argue dumbass points all day long. Ignoring him and let him continue to let his stupid shine is funny enough.
There are better coaches, no doubt about that. But he isn't a bad HC.
Mattison's solid for sure.. he had nice turnaround at UM to say the least
He's somewhat good....I don't think you actually read what I wrote.
My bad (chest thump)
So then, what exactly do we base this "Mattison is an awesome DC" theory on? His '95 and '96 units at UM? His mediocre run at ND? He was co-DC at Florida, for what that's worth, so he does have a ring to his credit. Then he worked with the Ravens for a few years, inheriting one of the most talented defenses in the NFL . . . who took a step back in his last year, when his impact should be felt the most.
That leaves his most recent year at Michigan. His defense wasn't as good as Narduzzi's last year. So I don't think my opinion is that far out in left field.
I know WHY you're so persistent on this. You are a Michigan fan. The thought of Michigan State being better than Michigan at anything irritates you to no end. You hate MSU so much that you even put down the size of the video scoreboards. Remember that? "Don't get your hopes up, they're never as big as they look in the diagrams."
You're one of the last people to talk about objectivity. I stated it was my opinion. This somehow offends you. If you want to extrapolate one opinion on one subject to my objectiveness as a whole, go ahead. My opinion is that I'd take Narduzzi as a DC over Mattison right now. Could that change? Sure; it's an opinion. I'm not asking you to share it.
The back and forth is confusing at times
Sweet!! The Blu-Tang badge is here!!
