How would you react if, while losing 7-0 early in a game at Spartan Stadium, an MSU fan joining you in the upper deck said to you, "I just want to know if you have to re-urinate on your shirt everytime you wear it, or if you have some sort of sealant."
laconophilia is everywhere...
I worked with a MSU grad that stated that back in the late 90's. He would rather go 1-xx with that win vs Michigan than go xx-1 with that loss to Michigan. That young man had some Michigan hate running through his veins.
I would tell him that I bought the sealant.

For a brief second there, I thought you were Cope.
This season taught me to now expect a below average OL until I see otherwise. Therefore, I am hoping to average 110 ypg rushing and 230 passing.
The best passing offenses should be OSU, NW, WI, and Indiana.
We urinate wherever we f%cking want. We're Michigan fergodsakes!
I was impressed with the highlights of Mannie and his S&C program that were shown this spring on BTN.
Man, isn't it rare to see someone take a demotion within a staff. I would think that Roushar is the OC or he is gone.
Also, isn't Rison on the staff in some capacity?
I have to be nice, they were complaining.
I agree regarding the demotion. Many would rather be fired, and if it isn't handled perfectly, it can completely screw the chemistry. There are a lot of strategies that Dantonio could use, such as getting Roushar an HC job at a small school, or an assistant job at another school, maybe some sort of film guy in the NFL? Idk. Or, maybe he just tells Roushar the situation and asks what he'd prefer. Perhaps retirement?
More likely than any of that would probably be to name Roushar the OL coach in addition to OC, and move Staten back to TE/OT where he might be better suited.
It was announced that Rison would be helping as a student assistant or something, but his name is not listed with the other assistants, I'm not sure if it used to be.
Rocky those fans are virtually non existent and you perpetuate the urban myth by joking about it. How many versions of this have we heard as fans from tshirt alumni. They had a cousin that feels that way, a friend from MSU, a coworker, a friend of their wife. Jebus I'm old and have been around a ton of MSU fans in my life. Not one I know would make that choice.
Are there people on both sides that despise the other side so much that they can't take losing to them? Yes. But I'm tired of the billions of examples we hear. " not joking my neighbor says he'd rather be 1-10 with a Michigan victory the 10-1 and a loss".
YOUR have been banned from reading and posting on the Michigan Wolverine board.
They are out there. I swear on my grandmothers grave that he stated it. The guy graduated from MSU with an Engineering degree in 98. Great guy, one of the smartest men I have met. I thought it was kooky he would go to that extreme. I am sure with the 4 game win streak and back to back 11 win seasons, many have changed their stance on it.
I'd tell him that he's very creative and then ask if he was able to come up with that all on his own.
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
I'm just guessing, but that person might have said something like, "yes, I absolutely made that up myself."
Instead we got Tommy Amaker
Glad we have Beilein now though.
I'm not going to dig it up, but weren't some of the Michigan mafia saying they wouldn't have a basketball coach on campus making more money then the football coach. As a follower of uofm athletics you had to know his name was kicked around.
The second thing is, where's a good restaurant in ann arbor where a guy could take a lady in the bathroom and go to town?
Yes, the rumors were out there, but we didn't know we missed out because Bill Martin didn't want to be interrupted during his squash game.
Well it sounds like he already changed his mind and then called Bill Martin to inform him.
Didn't he screw up the football coaching hire because he was sailing? Leaving you guys rich rod.
I'm serious when I say there is way more good looking tail in Louisville. Been to Derby's, been to the big house. There is no comparison. Even taking out the equation of exaggeration about ugly women in ann arbor. Louisville rocks. Any tail chaser would consider that.
He was in Florida while Les Miles was trying to get a hold of him, and had a new cell phone that he didn't know how to use.
Yes. Les Miles' agent couldn't reach him after the news broke on ESPN about him coming to UM. Miles was pissed about the leak and wanted UM to put out a statement denying that there was any deal. They couldn't reach Martin and didn't even get a call back for days. So Miles put out his own statement saying he was staying at LSU.
