My hearts aches when I read this. Your father and your family will continue to be in my prayers.
God bless your dad and family.
Phil Steele predicts Michigan to lose by TWO touchdowns this weekend because....he confuses Michigan's situation with Michigan State last year? Weakest analogy for a prediction I have seen in a long time....but who knows how it will play out.
#20 MICHIGAN AT NEBRASKA
Last year Nebraska was making its first trip to the Big House since 1962. At the half UM led only 17-10 but had a 230-125 yard edge. NU fmbl’d the opening KO of the 3Q then had a P blk’d and UM used a fake FG for a td to blow it open 31-10 and rolled 45-17 (418-260 yard edge). Both teams used late rallies to win last week as the Huskers rallied from 12 points down in the 4Q to beat Northwestern 29-28. Nebraska had 3 TO’s including 2 fmbl’d P’s but Martinez had his best performance as a Big Ten QB hitting 27-39-342-3-0 in the win. RB Burkhead (knee) left early again. The Wolves got a huge monkey off their backs as they ended their 4 game losing streak to MSU by driving 41/8pl for a 38 yard FG with :05 left for a 12-10 win over their instate rivals. D-Rob had 259 of UM’s 326 total yards and only has 1 TO in the Wolves’ 3 game win streak. The D has been the difference as they are allowing 231 ypg and 9.8 ppg in the L/5. NU beat Mich St at home last year 24-3 the week after MSU had won a big home game (very similar spot) and the Cornhuskers become the new Legends leader.
PHIL’S FORECAST: NEBRASKA 34 MICHIGAN 20
Andrew Wiggins, the #1 2014 Basketball recruit, reclassified to 2013 today, and is assumed to be going to Kentucky. If he does, Kentucky will finish with the #1, #3, #4, #10, #11, and #76 players in a 6 man class. Insane.
If it turns out that Calipari was cheating to get these recruits, UK could get the death penalty.
Coach Cal is the dirtiest bastard in all of college sports. He's scum.

The baseball gods have been cruel to the tigers the last two games.
Not buying it. No way in hell there isn't something shady going on there.
So Dantonio is on Arkansas short list. Interesting.
YOUR have been banned from reading and posting on the Michigan Wolverine board.
That class would be better than the Fab Five's. Wow, that's insane
I just don't see Nebraska putting up 34 points against us. That would be one TD shy of the 41 points Bama put up against us in the opener and our defense has improved substantially since that game. FWIW Bama's 41 points also includes a pick 6.
Nebraska put up 30 against UCLA, 30 against Wisky and 29 against NW. Our defense is significantly better than all of those teams and I will be surprised if we don't hold the Huskers to at least a TD less. That doesn't guarantee we will win the game, but IMO we are far more likely to lose because our offense struggles than because our defense gives up a ton of points. Our road losses last year @Iowa and @MSU immediately come to mind. So does our road loss this year @ND.
My prediction ...

news to me
You cat read it but that's what it says
Evidently he's just going to keep following JLS around cleaning up his mess
Back with more on David Dawson, an SEC school eyeing Dantonio, Keith Appling and more ...

I read it. Dantonio hasn't been mentioned by our mods in a long while. He was never seriously mentioned either. lol. That is silly.
So we go shut out last night, and put up 3 meaningless runs the night before. What the hell is going on?
I think it's the time off imo. Baseball is a game of momentum and a team needs to keep rolling.
SF has played like 5 games in the last 6 days. DET has played 2 in the last 8 days.
Last night was damn close though, and Fielder was super close to scoring. It was a gutsy play that blew up in our face.
Give credit to SF though, they remind me of the 84 Tigers. Solid at SS, 2nd, catcher with a hot dogger in center. They play rock solid D and work well as a team to get the wins.
It's do or die in Detroit and with our regular line up back hopefully that will help out.
Man has this thread died. Michigan winning has pushed out the darkness of the previous 4 years sending the cockroaches that thrived in it scurrying away, I assume waiting for the darkness to return.
Who wins this weekends matchup?
Nebraska over Michigan 24-20.
Wisconsin over MSU, 17-13.
Yeh thread has lost momentum since Michigan has restored order.
Yep. Just not as much fun arguing with Sparty now that they're officially back to sucking.
I got food poisoning on Tues. night. Haven't exactly been up to banging heads in this thread.
I think Nebraska wins 31-27
UW over MSU 24-20. MSU has its "best" offensive showing since Indiana () but the D is just too tired to fully shut down UW.
The thread will get cranked during Bball season too, don't you worry.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Idk. I will significantly less involved. I just got promoted and my team has tripled. I'll be on occasionally but not a lot of free time for awhile.
laconophilia is everywhere...
I'm just consumed by the WS. I plan on watching it to the end.
We've always been more realistic in our view of our teams. I'm glad to be objective as I can when I see the product on the field. I don't know that we ""suck" because we've lost to three teams by six points. One in ot and one in the last seconds at their place. Sure those teams we lost to are pretty average, but so is the whole conference this year. We've got beat and looked horrible in one game the other three we just needed to make a play and couldn't.
Funny thing is, had we won those three we'd probably be a top 20 or 15 team and we sure aren't that this year. Perhaps the football gods have had enough of the frauds in the top ten. Remember when u of m actually got a first place vote and were number 8?
We are probably a bit higher then "sucking" not much. And certainly I wouldn't prop my chest out too far if I was osu or u of m bragging we win a tight game against us. There are no jewels in this conference this year.
My worry is now watching these wheels fall off our bus completely. I've seen that snowball roll down the hill way too often. I want to see the character of the MSU team. We'll see it in the first quarter. I'm not holding my breath.
Yep sounds like we don't stand a chance against the big bad three in conference this year.
