Louisville was a weak team before he got there though. You always know how good a coach is with what he can do against similar teams and programs. If you were the CMU coach, your record against MAC schools would show what you're capable of. If you're the coach of a low level BCS school like Illinois than your records against schools like Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa, MSU would show how good of a coach you are. If you are the coach of a team like Michigan, PSU, Nebraska than your records against other high level BCS teams would show how good you are.

Has anyone ITT ever eaten raisin pie?
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Is that a euphemism for something?
No, though I get that it could be taken that way.
As a joke in one of the RCMB threads today, someone asked for a pie chart. Goodbar (one of our funniest posters) posted a chart of all the % of pies that were purchased in 2006 vs. 2011. There were the standards like apple, peach, blueberry . . . . but then things like Chocolate Meringue (sp) and . . . Raisin.
I had never heard of a raisin pie before and it's thrown me off this afternoon. Wanted to know if anyone has heard of/eaten a raisin pie before.
Never heard of it, but there are a ton of weird pies out there. Pumpkin pie is my go to pie. I love the holidays.
Pumpkin and Pecan are my 1 and 1(a). I dig Dutch Apple too. After that, I think I'd have to go with Cherry, then Peach, then Blueberry. Lemon Meringue is a nice change of pace too.
Never heard of Raisin pie though. Just seems strange.
I have never had Pecan. I don't like the way it looks.
Apple has to be warm. Not hot, but American Pie warm is perfect.
My Father-in-Law likes rhubarb pie.
Oh man, Pecan is just pure sugar, but I love it.
I actually prefer my pie cool, with Cool Whip on it.
Strawberry-rhubarb is a nice change of pace.
Under no circumstance should raisin pie be allowed to exist.
Never had pecan pie?!?!?!
I'm officially convinced that you're the spawn of Satan.

My wife made a pumpkin pie cool two weekends ago.
You really have something against these raisin pie's. Childhood trama?
I will have to give one a shot this Thanksgiving. One of my brother in laws brings at least one for dinner.
Pig I am going to second the Bobby Williams recomendation. Been on a great run at 'Bama, and his players love him.

Don't do it. It's a trap!
No, I just had never heard of such a thing until today. The thought freaks me out beyond imagination.
Uh. What's happening everybody? It's awful quiet in here. Are you rejoicing after last night, or crying in your beer?
Don't answer that. It's rhetorical.
We were screwed either way.
I'm still dumbfounded by the existence of raisin pie.
How are UM fans feeling about Northwestern this weekend? They're coming off of a bye and have a tricky O . . . but their D isn't great and it's in AA. I think a 10-14 point UM W is in the cards.
It's like that episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where he says 'What about the grape? Makes great chewing gum, great juice, but you can't make a pie with it. No grape pie'.
Had a pumpkin cheese cake with graham cracker crust on Halloween ftw.
I think UM takes them.
If Iowa gets Weisman back and he's at full speed I think Iowa MIGHT give them a bit of a challenge, but I don't see another loss happening to UM until Ohio State. Also, if UofM some how has a rematch with ND then I see another loss.
Ok, so I dvr'd your st. cloud st. game and just flipped it on. What's with the student announcer with the southern drawl?
Edit: Huskies' defense giving the Spartans trouble early ... hmmm

Lol, watching a Tom Izzo preseason game is about as useful as a raisin pie. Izzo keeps the team below 75% until the B1G season, at which time he slowly takes them from 65% to 85%, back to 75% for the B1G tourney, then unleashes them in the NCAA tourney.
laconophilia is everywhere...
Even in a preseason game where we put a complete beat down on a team in the presser he'll come out talking about how unhappy he is with the teams performance.
Michigan 35, Northwestern 14
Well, if he came out saying that after the St. Cloud St. game, this time you should take him at face value.
