Part of me wants to put on my tinfoil hat and say that Calipari is paying recruits...unfortunately I have no evidence of that.
They are so bad at football I forget they are part of the SEC.
top 5/ top 10
These are our two freshmen who were highly regarded coming out of high school.

Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
He thought Hoke would still honor his scholarship if he visited the SEC even though Hoke told him that he couldn't do that. Personally, I hope we offer him again just because teens make stupid decisions and he may be regretting what he did.
There's an even better one in the SVSU game between Trey Burke and GRIII. The only disappointing thing about GRIII is he might end up as a one and done. Kid has the most NBA potential of anyone on the team.
I think he and Bosch would get in a fight. Bosch already called him out about wanting to do this sort of thing once. When recruits decommit it sucks, but at least the two we've had (assuming Conley goes elsewhere) have been at positions where we have other talented players.
Kids make mistake, and they have to deal the consequences. In Dawson's case, he has to decide which University he wants to gets to get a free education from. Or which University he wants to use, abuse, and forget about him. Whichever you prefer.
Also, If Hoke offers Dawson, it opens all other recruits to take visits and expect Michigan to offer once they are done with the visits.
SEC basketball isn't really worth following lol
You have Kentucky... Florida, recently... and then you have a mash up of Miss State, Bama, and Arkansas.
Back in the mid to late 90's Kentucky and Arkansas went back and forth when Arkansas left the SWC and joined the SEC. We've had some pretty good players: Corliss Williamson, Joe Johnson, Ronnie Brewer, etc.
I hope our current coach, Mike Anderson (Nolan's number one assistant), can take us back to the glory days lol.

Loved those "90 feet of hell" teams under Nolan.
Calpari has cheated everywhere. I have no reason to think he stopped now.
"As far as the downvotes. It's a gnat biting an lion"

I don't remember it being called that. Only the 40 minutes of hell that someone else mentioned.
Also, shouldn't it be 94 feet?
Ronnie Brewer was at Arkansas? I thought he was at Florida on those teams that won national championships with Joakim Noah and co?
edit: that was Corey Brewer, my bad. Jesus that team was so good.

He's probably going to Ohio State.
Really? The OSU fans I've seen have all said he's MSU bound.
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
Looks like Bielema's rent-a-QB didn't work this year. Danny Obrien gets benched for a Senior QB who has played in only 4 games (all in his Freshman year) and started 0.
Wisconsin will finish the season with a new starting quarterback, as fifth-year senior Curt Phillips will get the start this weekend at Indiana, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports, citing a source.
MSU was probably #1 a couple weeks ago, but judging by his recent tweets about OSU, and the "change at the top" i'm just guessing that means OSU jumped ahead of MSU.
Has Urban had a dream about him?
MSU opens as an 8.5 point favorite vs UConn.
I don't know too much about UConn; I have a hard time getting into college hoops until football season is over. Can someone enlighten me?
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
I don't really care either. We still have 4 OL with offers from Alabama, USC where they have guys with offers from Toledo.

I asked a few bball questions for you a few pages back.
Do you think that program will stay dominant or do you think it had more to do with Calhoun? They will prob still pull top talent from the NYC area unless those players decide to go to Syracuse now.
Im with you. The minute the NC football game is over, I'll check to see how everyone is doing. I don't think I've ever watched a full college Bball game unless it's MSU in march or I'm actuall there.
Didn't see that. I think it had alot to do with Calhoun, and they'll need a pretty good coach to replace him to stay a dominant program. UConn will spend big money to get a big name, but what's really out there? They took a step back last year when Calhoun was out with medical issues, that team was a mess even with the talent they had (2 lottery picks, and another probable future lottery pick). Their new coach is one of Calhoun's guys, so we'd have to see what he can do. He could be like Izzo was coming in right after Jud, but if he isn't i dont see UConn being good.
