Oh, we're going that far back? A guy named Andre Rison was pretty good I think...
laconophilia is everywhere...
That would serve him well in the NFL if he ever has to run a fly route for 30 yards, stop for several seconds, backtrack 4 yards, stare straight up for several more seconds, and catch the ball.
Yes, but Harris is an MSU fan, so he'll have an emotional connection to the players I listed.
Oh, really? Did he win the Heisman too?
I think the odds of him and Cousins ending up on the same team are pretty small at this point.
Damn, nobody will step in to replace production lost. #copelogic
Hey, I think the 49ers could have used a couple guys with that skill set last night...
And Muhammed . . .
Anyways, long ways to go till Signing Day '14. I just want the OL recruiting to be good in '14 for MSU; the Spartans usually produce a good to great WR every couple of years (Thomas to White to Cunningham to . . . Burbridge? We'll see) so though it would suck to lose Harris, it wouldn't wreck the program or anything.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Looking at the #'s.. Desmond only had 1 real insane year.. 61 catches 950 yards, 19 TDs
Had 1,000 total yards, 11 TD's and 65 catches his first 2 years combined
That's the spirit.
I just want Michigan to sign a good WR, a top notch rush DE, Cornwell, and a good CB. If that happens I'll be happy with the class.
You complaining about cope's logic is really an unfortunate situation. You don't have the most sound platform either.
Not saying I agree with cope on this one, but neither of you are beating the other at this point.
Agreed. Cousins has little to no interest in being a Saskatchewan Roughrider.
We'll be sure to mention that to Drake while he's holding Desmond's Heisman.
Dammit. You win.....this time.
Completely agree. Losing a great OL commitment would be much more damaging.
I actually agree too. In fact, I think it would be smart of you to focus 100% of your time and effort on OL recruiting this cycle. You have plenty of WRs to tide you over.
1. Top tier WR
2. Top tier DE
3. Top tier QB
4. Top tier CB
So, basically, you've got 1 (OT) of the 5 most coveted positions covered, you just need the other 4? Yeah, shouldn't be a problem.

Im just glad you arent wearing it against us. Wonder if OSU fans complain about those jerseys being against NCAA rules if they lose?
Honestly, beyond Harris and 2 others (Booth and another kid), I'm fine with leaving WR alone. MSU needs 4-5 OL, several DL, a couple TE's, and some DB's. WR is definitely not a big need.
By good WR I meant a consensus 4 star type player (or Corey Holmes would be pretty good as well). Cornwell will be tough to sign, but even if Michigan didn't land him I'm sure they'd find another solid qb. The good CB I was referring to specifically was Westphal. As far as DE goes I'd be thrilled if somehow Michigan signed Hand, but I'd settle for McDowell if they manage to get him. And even if they strike out on both of them I'm sure they'll pick up a pretty good player.
I complain about UM's jerseys after every game, regardless of outcome or opponent. That highlighter yellow is a crime against humanity. It has got to be one of the biggest reasons why CBB cannot build a female/metrosexual following.
If we sign McDowell and hand it would be unreal.

Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
Because they cause temporary blindness?
