That's pretty embarrassing that you played all of the hard teams on your schedule at home and still went 6-6. Michigan played all of the hard teams away from home.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
They don't make up xcuses when kids go o ND. The image doesn't need protection.

I think that they will take 3, but I wouldn't be shocked if Coles and JBB were it. Numbers says 2 are acceptable, how Hoke values linemen makes me think 3 is what he wants.
The top 5 class of 2013 hasn't played for Michigan. You can blame last season on them but you just look like a dumbass. The class of 2012 was very good with Funchess being freshman all-American, Dennis Norfleet being 2nd in the big ten in kickoff return, and Joe Bolden and James Ross being on the Big Ten all-freshman team.
That's pretty embarassing that you played all of the hard teams at home and still went 7-6. Michigan played all of the hard teams away from home.
And those frosh helped UM lose 5 games.
Two things ...
1. Numbers. I think the class reaches 20.
2. As you said, Hoke likes him some OL. I can't imagine us ever taking fewer than three while he is HC.
One class of freshmen can't turn our team around. You still have sophomores, juniors, and seniors who aren't as talented because they come from the RR era. You'll likely see much improvement this year with half of the team being recruited by Hoke.
One other thing, Roderick Johnson is the only target that I feel good about right now. I am sure another will pop up after camps and/or the season.
How? Has Hoke reproduced RR's epic turnover rate?
laconophilia is everywhere...
Sam Webb is hosting the Huge show to. Tune in to list to Michigan greats such as Jake Long, Woodson, James Hall, Everitt... raising money for Mott.

We're at 18 right now with Ringer leaving. I assume we'll have 1-2 more departures before next February. You always lose a few after the season.
3 is the smart move. I've seen what happens when you only get 2 OL in a class; any attrition and you're left with a hole.
I'd prefer 3-4 OL/class for MSU to help balance, but it looks like 5 this year.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
He's the master
1) Coach Rich Rod (1/4/2011)
2) QB Tate Forcier (1/13/11) - cancelled
3) Matt Goudis (1/17/11)
4) Tate Forcier (1/20/11) per secret mid
But I thought Hoke's frosh were more talented than Rich Rod's sophomores, juniors and seniors. At least, that's what we hear here
Maybe someone will leave early to pursue a rap career?
3-4 a year is ideal and Michigan is ahead of the curve with 10 in the previous two years.
Next years class will probably be smaller than this one. If 2 are taken this year then 3 must be taken next year. If they take 3 this year then I feel 2 next year is acceptable with the smaller class.
They were for the most part. You don't have depth if the other three classes aren't at that level talent wise.
Also, I can see them taking 3 in each of the next two cycles. Oline and dline are the most important position groups.
The Jack Ebbling show is terrible. The guy is not professional at all.
Where's the threat?
I listened to it for about 5 minutes and it was basically what you would imagine the RCMB would sound like with a radio show. He talks about MSU 95 percent of the time and the 5 percent of the time he talks about Michigan it's all about September Heismans/ how Michigan always has excuses for everything etc. If he ever wants his show to grow outside of the Lansing area, he needs to change that.
Isn't Ebling a MSU guy?
Why wouldn't his show be about MSU
Let them chatter about whatever they want. They live in their own world where they actually believe much of this stuff. Apparently Mike Valenti's running around saying MSU should leave the B10 and go to the SEC. Really? In what bizarro world does the SEC want Michigan State? And please, MSU, go. Do it. It will get one of the bottom dwellers off the B10 payroll so we can find another school that is capable of functioning as more than schedule filler.
