Free tickets?? That's like titties in Chick-Fil-A Special Sauce
Resolve to perform what you ought; perform without fail what you resolve. You may be whatever you resolve to be - Stonewall Jackson
I wish. My brother's best friend works for Octagon sports and his job is to make sure the celebrities and big wigs have fun at the larger sporting events. He's taken my brother to the Olympics, BCSCG, Superbowl and Australian Open in the last 5 years. Nice guy, haha.
That's pretty big time. I posted on VTScoop last year that I needed a couple of tickets to a game, and about 5 minutes later someone pm'd me and said him and his wife would be out of the country and I could have his at no charge. Thought that was pretty cool.
You only got them because you're internet famous, unlike me and the rest of us pee-ons
You're right. I didn't think of that.
Thanks for the downvote WahooMikey... I know it was you little guy.
I got you.... +1
We will agree to disagree, do we have a .01% chance of him coming? Sure. However at the end of the day it's mostly lip service. Great kid, father is a great guy too, VT just isn't in the cards. He'd be an awesome player for Bud however.
Haha, I just don't sugarcoat shit, and I'll say what a lot of people don't want. Be PC all you want, that's not me though.
I'd love to see him and Hand play together... they'd be dominant.
Especially when you consider Mihota, Walker, Teller, Holmes as well.
Yeah, that would be as good a group as you could find in the country.
Sucks for u guys about williams
Still think he ends up a Hokie.
Yea...but there are some comments about him on our board that make it not as bad as it could be. I think UVA had this same thing with some of their 13 recruits, lost their lead guy, opened back up, only to reaffirm. His buddies are coming up for spring practices, I hope we get him 100% back on board by the end of spring practices.
IMO this kid is going to blow up this year, he will get a ton of touches in the new HS, and put up clown numbers.
No worries.. He is still committed but is open to other schools as well.. One of the ill effects of losing Newsome, plus Marshawn is transferring to Phoebus so we'll still get him in the end I believe.
THE ONLY THING I'M ADDICTED TO IS WINNING--CHARLIE SHEEN
How weird is that statement that he is still committed but he's opening things up? I hate when UVA committs have done it in the past either your committed and your not, shouldn't be able to have your cake and eat it too. But that's the life of recruiting.
WAHOO 4 LIFE!!
Jesus, I don't really care that much but who keeps downvoting every single one of my posts? It's getting a little crazy.
It's a pretty ironic post. I always laugh when kids say that because they really just want to feel love again from other schools than 99% of the time stay committed to the original school.
I thought the article on rivals said he decommitted? Im on my cell or id go look for it..
The newest is that he is didn't decommitt but is opening back up since he's moving schools and his lead recruiter was let go...per rivals and 247 inside guys. We had a hint that his might happen about a month ago.
I don't think I see 7 wins, maybe 5? They lost their QB that couldn't be beat out by the guy that will replace him...lost their OC, the OC that their now QB was working with. and Lost their best DT...the DT might be the biggest loss. They will also have to play true freshmen in the Secondary because they have no depth...so losing that DT might really hurt when the QB has even more time. They also lost Greer, meaning they will likely have a very green ILB (Moore is likely that lamb) rather than an ALL ACC LB. They also lost Reynolds.
So they lost their 3 best players on D and will be better? (Nicholson will be pretty good, Eli is young but a year away IMO, still light for a dominant DE, he'd have RS at VT)
This could be a really bad D.
Ball State Win? (Ball State won 9 games last year)
H Duke W, no way you can say they win a game they haven't been able to win, but I'll give them this one
H Georgia Tech L, GT crushed them last year
H Virginia Tech L, not happening, we play better at their place
H Clemson L, no way
R Miami, L
R North Carolina, L, UNC should be pretty good
R Pittsburgh, W, that have to win at some point
R Maryland, W, couldn't win at home but maybe TOB pays off here?
Finding 5 wins is tough...I only see 1 game I can give them as a win and that is VMI. I gave them wins vs Ball State, Duke, Pitt, and Maryland, all 4 of those will be penciling in UVA as a win. I'd say they are more likely to only win 4 than get to 6, and much more likely to win 3 than 7.
Greer is the biggest loss, but Kwontie was highly regarded for a reason. The D Line should be fine.
I think 5-6 wins should be the expectation. Could be 4-7. Look at two years ago, randomly we play much better than we look like we should.
Imagine the offense with ONLY ONE QUARTERBACK PLAYING
Greer graduating will bring an upgrade to the position. Eli, Laroy, and Canady were the 3 best players we had on D. again LB will be a weakness, and hopefully the line can get it together
"Just gotta keep balling out"
I have UVA by 5 over Miami tonight.
