Poor Moeller, was a good coach and should have been coach for much longer.
Agree with all of this. Spartans roll, and we all can end the talk of Boise State deserving a chance in the first week.
Thanks bro.. I'll tell you one thing.. The man LOVES Michigan and will openly admit that.
He really is a good guy, people always say he's not but he's done a lot of good since he's been here, even went to Iraq to support the troops on his own dime.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I counted over 100 starters, actually. Their towelboys/medical trainers/etc. were all able to get in on the action as well.
But those turds will probably have something prepared for us. Nobody knows what their offense is going to do, meaning our coaches probably won't have a very specific gameplan. I just have a feeling they are going to be absolutely infuriating for at least a good portion of the game.
what does it say though if MSU loses?
Go Blue and Go Titans!
BSU lost too much and will not be the team they were the last two years. They'll lose to MSU, who hasn't lost a home game since 2009, and that will close the book on BSU for 2012.

Scrap the program and the university. Donate all proceeds to UM. Purge the history books of MSU's existence.
Sounds like Sparty's overdue to lose some home games.
I'd add in that MSU returns 8 starters off a D that finished in the top 20 nationally in total D, scoring D, pass D, rush D, TFL, 3rd down conversion%, sacks and pass eff. D, including every CB, DE and LB on the roster (lost 3 DTs and 1 S. Total.)
It's not going to be an easy W by any means, but this is a veteran defense, playing at home. I recall a few years ago Boise opened against Va. Tech in the Redskins Stadium. Boise won, 33-30, but only took the lead for good with 1:09 left in the game. That was far from a blow-out and that was with Moore.
The distinguishing feature of Boise was its defense, holding Va. Tech to 314 total yards. Well, most of that D is gone (only 1 of the top 9 tacklers return, 0 DL), and MSU returns 4 starting OL. Should be a great game, but I look for MSU to grind out a tough W at home.
One other note: I'm not a huge fan of intangibles as a major factor in games, but people point to Boise's "underdog mentality". Well, unlike Va. Tech, Oregon or UGA, MSU isn't exactly seen as a national "big name", arguably Boise State's better known nationally. Don't look for MSU to overlook Boise here, as MSU knows that a W over the Broncos would help their national profile.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
No worries, Boise st doesn't have half as good of team as they did last year.
Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
They will lose to MSU. A team with a true freshman at QB and 18 new starters is going to have a hard time with a team like MSU. I wouldn’t be surprised if they pull off the upset but I doubt it.
Finally! An MSU fan with some common sense.
People are gonna realize someday that they are a good team. It's no coincidence they had one of the highest # of players drafted last year. They've got the best player development system in all of football when looking at the average ranking rankings of BSU. Now, they do lose a lot of players but that's happened before and they always reload. Let's see how they do, I wouldn't call it a guarantee game for Michigan State.
I just find the annual hate laughable. College football purists are the worst.

So, a BSU guy states that BSU returns 9 guys who have started a game on the oline, and he is using that as an example of why he feels the oline will be just fine. How is that any different from MSU fans stating that MSU returns 9 of the 10 in the two deep on the oline so a rushing attack that finished 11th in the B1G is now going to be a strength?
Have to agree with this.
Boise State could face the entire top 10 back to back to back and you would still find the same people hating on them for different reasons.
Goodness do you see their schedule? The people who stick up for this crap are the worst.
Yet teams like Virginia Tech get a free pass when their schedule is very weak too.
We were referring to OL depth and the number of options. The BSU fan was referring to STARTERS. Not the same thing.
They don't put all their marbles in one game they have months to prepare for.. You know, they actually play more than one BCS school. Lol at sticking up for them and who they play compared to teams who play in a real conference against real teams.
Boise State plays more than 1 BCS school.
BS. If they went through a hard schedule, I would give them respect. Winning one big game a year doesn't do it. Indiana & Minnesota suck ass in the B1G, they would be the best teams year in year out in the Mountain West.
