Opinion but we are known for our food up with any other state.. Even though u hate all things south.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
NYC and Vegas absolutely crush NO in both categories. It doesn't shock me in the least though that southerners are so enamored with NO.
When you combine a region known for a type of food with the hospitality that come natural in NOLA and mix in the french and american cuisine, I would put it against anywhere.
New York has some better restaurants and Chicago is right there as well, but for the number of great restaurants in one small area, NOLA is hard to beat.
As far as nightlife, there are some great spots, but for getting together with a big group with an event type atmosphere it's up there.
Besides, I'm not a club guy. Austin or Nashville are probably my favorite actually. More of a fan of live music.
I'd much rather hang out in Nashville or Austin than NO.
A lot of chefs in Vegas are New Orleans Chefs.
It's all opinion but when people/media talk about Louisians, they talk about the food.
Overrated IMO unless you absolutely love that specific style of food. In places like Vegas or NYC you have amazing chefs from all over the world.
Disagree WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!! Vegas has better food than Nawlins? Buffets and fast food? Come on man.
You obviously ate at the wrong places in Vegas.
NYC has the best food in the country, not even close.
When was the last time you were in Vegas? The 80's?
Just a difference in hanging out and throwing down I guess. Loved living in Austin, but it doesn't have the same feel.
I usually don't count Vegas in these discussions though. Different category, IMO.
Ummm no, I have just a tad bit of experience in Vegas... look I know there are good places to eat but I would take dining in NO over Vegas anytime... and what makes NY better? I love these arguments... I guess the other cities in the Country don't serve the same types of food that NY does?
I been in Vegas 10 fold the years you been alive... I agree with Better Off there is a much different feel... but outside of some exclusive restaurants... NO is more widely known for food for 1 and has better food per restaurant or however you wanna reason it.
The best food is pure opinion. This is serious business to you guys.
Some exclusive restaurants?
Meaning both cities have a lot of them.. Vegas has a few more... geesh I figured you would catch the point.. guess not, now go bellyache about it on twitter...

I get that you're clueless. Now go sit on the edge of your seat waiting for my next tweet.
That tactic works on these cats... not me.
I know bro. You're all ten fold and whatnot. Hardcore.
Buck on Buck crime. I feel we should get a tatoo to remember this moment.
Let's not get bent out of shape because of a difference of opinion guys!
That's way too BOL for this place.
It's cool, brah. I've never even been to NOLA.

You suck man!!
I laft though.
Logistics isn't high on my priority list. I think the stadium is the best of all sites, though I haven't been to land shark or whatever it's called now. Best game atmosphere and setting in sports IMO, but to each his own.
Beautiful from the inside, especially on the press box side with the mountains in the background no doubt.
A lot of lines everywhere though.
A stadium everyone should experience, but not my favorite.
As you said, to each his own.
All I know is that the sugar bowl is a complete asshole.
