That fat kid can run. If he stays around that weight instead of becoming about 450 lb's, he will be picking any school that he wants to play for in the country.
I have to imagine he will be playing OG or NT. Especially with that athleticism.
With that size and athleticism, I would have to think that he will end up on the DL.
I don't think I've ever seen a kid (or anyone really) that weighed 350 with that kind of top end speed.

Insane. It's crazy how Samoans carry weighr like it's absolutely nothing. P.S. I'm just assuming he's Samoan.
I just hope his Highschool Coach realizes he has amazing potential on the DL and switches him there.
Dude needs to get down to about 300. Would be interesting to see how much his athleticism improves by dropping 50
Is this kid out of Michigan.
I didn't see where he was from.
lolz its obviously hawaii dawg
Guess you missed the name of the schools at the top
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
It would be insane if he cut down to 260, 270 and be a rush LB in a 3-4. He could have a 4.4, 4.5 forty at that weight.
no he couldn't
You see his speed at freaking 350? 260 and 4.5 is feasible.
He wont get below 300lbs anyway.

All it shows in the link I see is "This 350 lb high school running back can run" repeated over and over.
No it isn't, and he doesn't even look that fast to me
Not at all, he can move for a big guy but fast ? no, he isn't that fast
Watch it again, it clearly has the 2 schools named at the top scoreboard
Didn't look at the scoreboards. To busy watching fat boy run like he was going after the last piece of cake at the Luau.
You wouldn't call that fast for a 350lb dude? M'kay. Not like it matters. He will probably cut down to 330lb and be a beast at NT. If he is smart. But I can see a HS Coach keeping him at RB and really jeopardizing his future at D1 college football.
You would think a kid like that plays both sides of the ball in HS.
Fast for a 350 pounder, yes... but fast in general ? no, Im a lot faster than that kid and I maybe run a 4.8 40 right now
He could lose 200 pounds and not be able to get in the 4.5 range, the 4.5 range is hauling serious ass and most are born with that kind of speed if not all
Its not something you obtain with weight loss
I would hope so. I used to know some pretty shady HS coached who don't care for a players future. I wouldn't put it above some coaches to only care about their W/L and not about the future of their players.
His coach should be in his ear to lose that sloppy weight and to focus on OL/DL.
I ran a 4.5 in high school.
Actually a 4.52 to be exact.

Exact same time here actually, I was an alternate for our 4x100 team.
I get your point though.
Thats my girl's alma mater. I'd give $100 to any person on this board that could say Kealakehe
Seen him play twice and was blown away. Chow is building a damn good D-Line with him and Tulimasealii.
